Guest jackief Posted July 6, 2008 Share Posted July 6, 2008 Hi I applied on line on the 1st July - had skills assessment back last week June from Australian Computer Society yippee on MODL!!. Immediately after submitting application they emailed me saying I had to get medicals, police checks etc etc in 28days or application my be refused:( . Phoned medical center in Cardiff and they can't fit me in until early August OMG. Have emailed but no reply yet. It may be better for you if you start your post as a new thread, and I'm sure people that have applied on line will be able to help you..... Medicals sent to Sydney 12/06/08 Police Checks sent 30/06/08 Received receipt for both so back to waiting game... They had received about 20.000 applications in August last year! They confirmed that they are working in parallel on finishing up backlog AND regular applications received after 1st September. Promised to do their best and asked me to wait another couple of weeks. She apologised for the delay. And by the way: They do make records in your file when you call them. We expect to be your last one granted as we have just had official notice that we are on hold until the capital investment issue is resolved. I'm assuming it was an expensive mistake that they asked for our meds/pcs in April when they knew this issue was not close to resolution. We live in ever fading hope at the moment...
