England should top that group no problem.

I think Scotland might as well not bother turning up.

Wales have a good chance.

But I fancy a bet on Northern Ireland to qualify from that group outsiders but I fancy them to do it.

Scotland are actually the second highest in the FIFA standings in that group, so you would have to say they do have a chance.

Lets be honest ,none of our lot are going to win it ......I heard a great interview with ex spurs ( now real Madrid ) player luca modric ,on why England don't do very well at major tournaments .

His polite response was that England have the players, but don't care enough about playing for England .....add that to the rift ,that Paul Scholes eluded to between the Liverpool and Man utd contingent , and it doesn't look very promising .

Although this time they will have no excuses , they are bringing in GB cycling boss Dave Brailsford to assist and a psychologist to help if any of the games go to penalties :biglaugh:

The players may get more support from the public , if they all sung the national anthem before the games ....******s

I think he's being kind, for the sake of his English mates. England doesn't really have the players, 1 or 2 aside over the past decade. That's why you buy English for 30M and put them on 200 grand a week yet can still buy some no mark Johnny Foreigner for peanuts who's probably just as good.
