Guest melanie79
hi everyone! good luck with the visas and hope they are granted soon. im waiting on ielts results and skills assessment before victoria ss so think i might be in june's gang if im lucky!!! just quick question though toOZ2012 you said in your post: CO allocation is different from grants as for the latter they are usually waiting for the applicant to send/update/finalize stuff. CO allocation has a 'service charter' so I speculate that it's faster than, say, a grant what does a grant mean? sorry if im being thick! toOZ2012
Thanks nitisha-hmmm IT is not my best area of understanding! Just to add a bit more to nitisha's post. The total limit is only 60 docs, so if you have a large number of payslips or other evidence - combine them. http://www.immi.gov.au/e_visa/general-skilled-migration-attachments.htm

Granted visa - shortened to 'grant' So when CO gets and is satisfied with all the docs he needs (including Meds, PCCs) the last step is to (grant) give you the visa

toOZ2012
HI, How i can know that my CO is assigned for WA_SS online application. Normally, after how many days later CO is assigned for evauation. plesae reply................ For WA, you may get an e-mail saying "your app is being processed" or something similar but in most cases it'll be a direct sponsorship assuming they don't have any queries. toOZ2012
Does anyone know generally how long it takes to process visa app once medicals and PCC are done?????? If you already sent in the Meds and PCC before a CO is allocated, what else did he ask for? If he has everything he needs then you can expect a grant very soon. Most cases, in a few days or less. aidanofl
I did my medical b4 CO allocated and sent my PCC to UK. So still awaiting my police check back which i expect in the next two days. In terms of medical, they still havn't said 'met' on my status page so maybe the results are nt online yet.
