Hi everyone, I have applied for partner visa in the UK this week. My husband (sponsor) is Australian citizen by birth and also British. He’s not lived in Australia since 1992, and has been living in the UK since. My question is - would my husband need medical check and to complete form 80? As both are not listed as requirements in the sponsor application. Many thanks in advance for your help

Dear all, I'm going to apply for 189/190 visa. However, I have right bundle branch block (RBBB). Will it affect my application? Can I pass the medical check? Is RBBB is viewed as severe heart/cardio disease? Thanks all!

I was wondering what is generally checked during the Medical assessment and what should an applicant be careful about? Also for Visa applicants not located in Australia, are we told to get the Medical tests done from a specific Lab/Hospital that are authorised? Thanks

Dear all! I have electronically applied for ENS 186 on 29/08/2013 (Nomination lodged 11/07/2013, granted 12/09/2013). Today, my CO contact me to let me know that I need to do medical test. However, she cannot provide me a HAP ID, without it I cannot book medical test with Medibank (did phone them to see if I can use TFN instead, they said no as this is a recently applied rule). I response to the CO, saying I need a HAP ID. She said that COs can no longer generate HAP IDs, the applicants have to generate it themselves. There is only two ways I can imagine a HAP ID could be generated: - Via My Health Declaration http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/health-requirements/my-health-declarations.htm . But the website specifically says that it should only be used for the one who has NOT applied for a visa. So it does not apply to my case. - Via an "Organize your health examination" link in the electronic visa application. However, this option is NOT AVAILABLE in my visa application at the moment. What should I do in this case? Thank you all very much!

Hi guys, Just thought I would ask you all a question as I am quite intrigued by something and want to know if anyone noticed the same thing! I am an Australia citizen and my husband is applying for a spouse visa (309/100) from UK. We are now at the stage where he is applying for his medicals and we noticed that when he filled in his online questionnaire to bring to the doctor that the visa he is applying for on the system was noted as - Spouse Permanent 100 - does this mean that the embassy have put him forward for the permanent spouse visa straight away? We have been living together for over 5 years and are married over a year so I know it could be an option that he is given a permanent visa straight away but I guess I am just getting my hopes up that we can expect it when the visa is granted!! Any one noticed this too or had any dealings with it? Thanks!
