The PR Visa is for the period of 5 years. You need to apply for the citizenship to stay permanently in Australia. -

You can go ahead in applying for the Subclass 189 Visa for Australia. Looks good. If not you can apply for the subclass 190 visa.

Most of the time it is an approximate time. All of the things come down the type of visa you have filed and whether you have filed the right sort if visa or not. -

I think he is still in PR status. He would sponsor you as a Permanent Resident not as a citizenship. In my view he doesn't but yes it would be beneficial to check it once. -

It usually takes lesser time then 12 months for Subclass 190 visa. It usually takes about 8 to 10 months, approximately. Though as said it depend on various factors, but yes, if everything goes in a glossy way then it would take a lesser time. All the best!! -
It's the visa you are targeting at. It is just to see whether you have enough money to support yourself in the country.

It takes its own time. It may depend upon your application how much the office bearers are busy with the immigration system. If it is a peak immigration season you can surely expect a delay, if not hope you get it timely. -
I think being a 20 year experienced, you experience can replace your education. So you can try that once.

The processing time for subclass 190 visa does take a longer time. Though it depends upon number of factors and is really unpredictable, but the it normally takes about 12 months or so to do so.
