  1. @Rosiejaq I sent you an email adding you to a conversation I had with someone else regarding Form 1022 which will help
  2. It is great to see some positive news lifts up the spirit of those that continue to wait
  3. Just seen on another page a 143 (michaelsmum) received request for medical and police clearance - lodged 03.09.15 - September here we come!
  4. Congrats ! You will be fine they give you 90 days now to submit everything
  5. @LindaH27 Hi LInda in regards to that info of visa date possibly the twelve month date after you had your PC - if mine is dated 21st February 2019 does that mean I must enter before it expires but would there be a requirement for it to be valid for 6 months before validity meaning I should get my visa issued by mid August 2019? Being optimistic
  6. It is very helpful to see timelines and very easy to add to your profile as follows: Click on your profile icon on the top right hand side of this screen - there is a drop down box Click on Account Settings. On the left hand side of the screen you will see "Signature" click on that and complete your details Click on Save.
  7. @5000/1 Have you been granted your visa? It would be helpful if you could update your timeline or share it so that others can also benefit from your information
  8. @Rosiejaq For 2nd Vac I believe you have 28 days not sure on AOS
  9. @LindaH27 Already done 2 months ago! Just need to fill in the grant number and date of arrival. It's helpful won't need to send any certified documents as there will not be any changes from 173 so it will be quick and painless - at least I will be in Australia whilst waiting for AOS. Thank you
  10. @Jellybean T Thank you ....not long for you either. These last 3 months have been worse than the 41 months before that.
  11. I really was so optimistic I would wake up to an email requesting payment - never have I been so eager to pay a fair amount for a bill as I was today. Have decided not to even try to fathom a guess on timelines anymore and will just continue to wait in anticipation. I am just thinking positive thoughts on how grateful I am to even have this opportunity. Positive vibes and more positive vibes. Have a great weekend all.
  12. A question please for all those that are settled etc. I have mentioned to my daughter she will need to have me added to one of her utility bills so that I can open up a bank account etc and she said she is unable to put me on her council tax or water bill as that is only for the home owners so that just leaves electricity bill - are there any other bills that you have been put on in the first instance - I know in the UK anyone living on a property must be on the council tax bill which would suffice. TIA
  13. Has anyone on 173 who submitted documents in February received invoice to pay? Do you think IMMI are waiting for the new financial year (next week) to issue grants. This has been such a long wait for the next step it is very worrying. Feeling in limbo
  14. @CEJ I am hoping /praying that I will get request to pay next week and then my visa granted in the new financial year so anytime week commencing 1st July. My PCC and medical was sent 3 months ago and haven't heard anything so I am guessing they are only processing those 173 lodged Oct/Nov/Dec 2015 in the new financial year ...but it is all a guess. @Rosiejaq It has been a very long journey for me (7 years worth of waiting). I was not fully aware at that time if I submitted my 173 and withdrew the 103 on the same form my waiting time would have already be considered and I would have by visa granted within 6 months. I only found out later.
  15. I initially applied for the 103 lodged in May 2012 I just checked what my status would be today and I would still have 4 years and 9 months still to wait - I did withdraw it in July 2015 and applied 173 in October 2015. Hopefully I only have a few more months to wait.
  16. https://www.dss.gov.au/our-responsibilities/settlement-services/beginning-a-life-in-australia Very useful document
  17. @Sadge there is another way www.sendmybag.com where you can send a bag ahead of time at a cost of around £166 for maximum of 30kgs - they add for any extra kgs after 30kgs - they will give you a quote. I plan on doing this - it takes around 6 days door to door to Sydney in my case. Worth a look
  18. Can I just add regarding Form 80 to make sure if you do complete it in advance when you are asked at that time to double check you are completing the latest copy. I did this and ended up having to redo it because page 1 had some new additions. It is worth doing it in advance as there is a lot of information to gather.
  19. http://www.iscah.com/dha-meeting-outlining-backlog-applications/ Found this on another discussion forum within PomsinOz
  20. HI Mani there is a thread on here called The Brand New PIO Parents Visa thread which is of tremendous help and people will be able to answer your question. If you go to the home page and go to Parents / Family Visa you will find it there or just search at the top.
  21. @LindaH27 I sent you a message on here with an example of how I did it hope you got it
  22. @LindaH27 also Form 1022 for sponsor I had to do it they changed home address and my sponsor changed email and it was accepted and uploaded
  23. @ramot Congratulations so happy for you. Its great news to see they still granting visas so close to the financial year there is still hope for us stragglers. Its good to know how you paid very helpful - I transferred all my funds to my daughter's bank account in Australia and she will pay on my behalf and it looks favorable via B Pay!
  24. Thank you @Nemesis and @Kalil I realised I read it wrong and edited my comment but you both were too quick on the mark. I read they were on 173 and in Aus with 600 visa, and just paid for the 173 to be granted so was confused which is not difficult
