  1. That's really short processing time for a Rest Manager - consider yourself lucky! The visa normally is finalized within a few weeks- to up to a few months after the nomination.
  2. When did you apply for the visa? Same time as nomination or?
  3. RIP young man, died at 34 after his 187 visawas refused in August this year: https://mobile.abc.net.au/news/2018-11-22/grieving-mother-calls-time-on-drawn-out-visa-process/10544626?pfmredir=sm
  4. No, absolutely not. It can take weeks, it can take months. Just wait.
  5. I'd say wait cos if they open your file soon they might not request a new one even though it has expired. And you save money.
  6. Due tomorrow and hanging on this forum? What you should do is relax, think positive thoughts and listen to some classic music - not put yourself in the midst of a stressful situation about which you can do nothing. From tomorrow (or whichever the day) you will have a completely different focus and hopefully won't be obsessed with this as much. PS. Let us know how you go!
  7. Your MA is unfortunately right, no use in emailing, calling and 'reminding' DoHA. They will open your case when they open your case, simple.
  8. It is not another 2 years, it is a total of 2 years from day 1 of full-time employment, which is pretty reasonable. What's not reasonable at all is the waiting time, it's just way overboard. Good thing is if you have the 2 years completed while you wait, you are good to leave.
  9. Do the minimum of 2 unless he's happy to let you go. Another option is to complete the 2 years somewhere else, still on the same position and regional postcode, if you have a good reason to leave the current one: as in not full-time hours, not timely payments, bullying, etc.
  10. It is gray only until the Employer reports you of breaching the conditions and then it becomes black out of nowhere. But if they don't, if you've mutually agreed to it, or you have reasonable explanation as to why you are leaving in less than 2 years - you will be fine.
  11. Yes, that's a 187 visa condition which requires you to work at least 2 years with your sponsor, in total (not from the grant).
  12. Why would a PR have conditions listed? It's a permanent stay grant.
  13. I am pretty sure AFP is only for the applicants, not for family members if they are not migrating. When she applies for a visa she will be required AFP too.
  14. As long as the 2 are submitted before the processing of the Nomination - chances are they will be assesses at once. What your agent referred to is not to wait for the nomination to be approved before sending in the visa application. In Azher's case it does not matter, at worst they will be a few months apart.
  15. The likelihood of them being processed together an once is very high, and I'd count from the very first submission - May 2017.
  16. Don't call, it's pointless and could potentially be harmless. Just be patient.
  17. If you apply for a new visa (with the new sponsor) while holding Bridging Visa A, you will be granted Bridging Visa C, which has no travel rights. As this is a brand new application for both visa and nomination, it is a brand new case to which present rules will apply.
