  1. Deliberate or whatever. But for sure there is something (deliberate) which causes delay. I reckon it might be the high volume of application versus less number of staff. Or probably an internal (unannounced) policy of issuing fix quota visa to each country every year. That's why we see most visa's were issued last year in Nov-Dec, and it looks like they issued in haste to meet the quota. Being an optimistic person, I hope our COs are working hard and are well aware of our curiosity and pain. And they're just about to finalize our applications and send golden grant email, IA. Wish you and all best of luck Lilly.
  2. Having no visibility or less visibility over application progress is one of the mental torture as well. Just saying "Further Assessment" is not enough. They should give us more visibility so at least we know how far our application is and what actually its going through. Even details of applications received and expected applications to finalised per month/year will be helpful. Speaking about Pakistan's cases, specially after introducing NADRA's computerized system I believe things got quite simple and fast. Verification with NADRA should be pretty straightforward except the PCC verification which might causes delay due to our poor thana culture. Otherwise other verification should not take time. The only thing I reckon which might taking time is probably the high number of applications received and less number of working staff (COs, other staff). I think long processing has negative impact on spouse relationships as on various occasions couple loose patience during some time of process. Wish you and all best of luck Lilly.
  3. According to the current official timeline for 309: 75% of applications: 14 months 90% of applications: 19 months If you see previous posts of this thread then you'll find people getting visa between 8-16 months and some are still waiting for almost 19 months. There is no hard and fast rule. Just pray and make sure your docs are completed and updated on immi account. Wish you & all best of luck Lilly.
  4. Myself is feb 18 & I guess even Jan 18 applicants are waiting as well. Good luck all.
  5. Thanks for your feedback. I sent status update email to AHC on 29 Jan 19. And they're responding after 26 days. As in your case as well, I think only those who send status email to AHC gets this auto reply. As we see @Hawar19Jan has passed 13 months and still didn't received any auto reply, that's probably because he never sent status email to AHC? At the end of the day, we've to continue waiting and keep praying for early arrival of golden email Lilly.
  6. If this is the case, then PCC expiry should not be a problem and I hope they shouldn't ask me to provide again.
  7. Did you sent visa status query email to AHC? I'm bit worried of the PCC expiry which I submitted, as my (sponsor's) two oversease PCC wil expire by mid March; and doing oversease PCC is usually a headache. Therefore, I wish visa comes before they expire. Good luck to you. Lilly
  8. Hi all. Just received auto generated email from "auto-letter-generator@homeaffairs.gov.au" Saying ... This looks like an auto generated email from System and I think since it is exactly 12 months today (my DOL: 24/02/2018) therefore, system sent this email automatically? Or it might be a response to my email for visa status 3 weeks ago. Is it normal to receive such application status email after 1 year completion? Anybody else received such email? And does it mean the application is going to take further long as its says they're completing a number of thorough checks? Any feedback is much appreciated. Thanks. Lilly
  9. I did mines last year from Karachi. Here is the process I followed with Gulberg DIG office. Mines was District Central Karachi. So you have to go to your relevant district. 1) Go to DIG office in Gulberg located next to Gulberg Police Station 2) Tell them you want PCC as immigration has asked. They will give you a form. 3) Read this form clearly and there is a long list of documents you need to attach with that form. Make sure you attach every document properly. 4) Bring that completed form along with documents (some needs to be attested) to the same person who gave you form 5) He will identify your police station and will write police station name on same form and also will do entry of your form into his register 6) Take that form along with same documents to your police station 7) Police station will give you their own form which you have to fill and submit back to police station. It will need two witnesses so you have to provide NIC and signatures of witnesses. 8 ) Complete and attached documents and submit police station's form back to police station 9) Police station will take 1-2 weeks for verification and they will give you verified form (same form with SHO stamp) 10 ) Take that verified form and the first form (step 2 above) back to DIG office and submit them 11) DIG office will once again check your form and will take you to DIG for personal appearance where DIG will sign your form and will issue you police clearance certificate. Note: 1) If the applicant is not able to do himself then he has to give power of attorney to someone. Form and content details of this power of attorney can be done in some shop near Gulberg Police Station 2) Major process is within Police station (step 6-9 above). This is not the easy one as we all know how things work within police stations. I recommend you to approach police station with some contact within police station. Otherwise you might face unnecessary troubles. Good luck. Lilly
  10. Make sure you have sponsored applicant for visa 309 by completing and submitting sponsor's form 40SP. You can do this via immiAccount.
  11. Many Congratulations. Thanks for sharing the good news Good luck with your future Life
  12. According to my assessment, official and most updated processing time for 309 is mentioned at: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/partner-offshore/provisional-309 75% of applications: 14 months 90% of applications: 19 months I'm discussing the same topic here
  13. Hi. I'm bit confused about processing times. Please share your views, if possible. So, I just called Immigration General Enquiries for my wife's partner visa status and they said they can't provide status and after taking DOL from me, the staff said, 90% of applications are processed in 19 months and 75% of applications in 14 months. Ref: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/partner-offshore/provisional-309 May be I'm wrong, but it looks like there are 3 different processing times that are mentioned: The first is on above page. Second is on immi account it says: 13 - 18 months and third on global processing time page it says for 100 visa 75% are processed in 19 months and 90% are processed in 33 months. However, I'm not able to find processing time for 309 on global processing times page. The staff however mentioned that official and the most updated processing time is on visa information page https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/partner-offshore/provisional-309 . Which means 14 - 19 months. Thanks. Lilly.
  14. Good. Quite reasonable. I pray you'll get 309 without the need of visit visa. Good luck
  15. Congratulations. Very good news. Thanks for sharing. Hope we get more grants following week. Wish you a happy Aussie life Lilly
  16. Ok. I think at this stage, you've below options: 1) Carry on with what you're doing, i.e: follow up with Zarnab on your case. Wait and continue as it is until you get grant. 2) Withdraw agent and follow-up directly by yourself with CO. In this case, I think you can better present your situation to CO. Apart from above, please keep taking logs of chat, finance, pictures, husband visits etc. This might come handy if CO ask again. Note: Please note I'm not any agent or very experienced in immigration cases. I myself has lodged Partner visa sponsor application for my wife and still waiting for grant. Above is just my input, please do what you think better. Good luck. Lilly.
  17. IMHO, you should be prepared to wait more as your DOL is June 2018. Here you will find people waiting from Dec 17, Jan-Feb 18. Therefore, I think its better to plan a visit to your wife (if she is overseas) and spend some lovely time during this painful wait. This will also give positive message to CO. Good luck. Lilly
  18. So with agent, I'm assuming you don't even have the credentials to login immiAccount? If you have, then you can see directly if logs are updated or not? BTW, if CO has asked for additional docs, then I see no point of uploading more logs until asked again. Good luck. Lilly.
  19. Every 3 months ?? IMHO, its too much delay for follow-up. You've four kids, of course several years of relationship. Solid genuine relationship evidence. I think you should consider withdrawing your agent and instead follow-up embassy directly. Good luck. Lilly.
  20. I know people who applied via unregistered MARA agents are being dodged and got unsuccessful results. Therefore, I prefer if anyone is using agent then better go with registered MARA agent, at-least you know you're investing in right way. I think everyone has same visibility and access to information. Agents who are experienced might present your application in better and proper way. The only bottleneck I see going via agent is that you're completely dependent on agent, specifically when it comes to follow-up, as agent has lodged many applications and he might be bit reluctant to write to CO quite often. I've same opinion, I hardly remember any case via agent who got quick response/visa. Good luck. Lilly.
  21. What your agent says? How often he contacted CO for follow-up? Is he MARA registered?
  22. Submitted additional docs 7 weeks ago. No news yet. Except (2) manual acknowledgements. Since January 2019, it is very quite. I think only one visa grant news (on this post). Good luck to all. Lilly.
