  1. I would advise you to make sure you frontload complete checklist from AHC Islamabad (search previous posts of this thread where members have shared checklist pdf). Also, since it's your 2nd marriage, I would advise you to write a separate statuary declaration explaining why your previous relationship didn't work (and ended in divorce or khula?) and details how you decided to go for 2nd marriage. This second advice is merely on my experience, as mine is 2nd marriage as well, and I feel if I had provided this kind of statement then my case would be stronger and easier for CO to take the decision. Good luck bro.
  2. I think it depends. If your passport is full of visits from non-high-risk countries then yes, there should not be a problem or suspicion. However, if your passport is full of multiple visits to high risk and war-torn countries, like Syria, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Libya then I think this might create suspicion and your case could be forwarded for special security checks like the one ASIO does.
  3. I don't think visiting these countries would be a problem. All countries look good. This should be fine with you, IA.
  4. What? After 20 months?? Not sure, but you take other members' advise here on this. For me, 20 months is too much.
  5. @tobeaussieIA Did you received any update from CO? Is your case straightforward? Like no previous marriage (applicant/husband), overstay visa, etc. Note: Your DOL and DOL are almost the same, with only one day difference.
  6. Read somewhere that providing too much information also delays the process. Do you (or your husband/sponsor) have a long travel history? Like many overseas visits? If yes, would you mind sharing countries you visited (just to know if they were HR countries)? Good luck!!
  7. This is what one of the registered MARA agent here in Australia told me when I was too worried about my wife's visa. However, I didn't acted upon it as I think mine was under the timeline (15-20 months) On another occasion he said: I think you've to discuss this option with your agent. But if your agent is in Pakistan, then I don't think he will be effective in using this option. But discuss with your agent first and see whats his reaction. The best would be your husband meeting in-person with some registered agent here in Australia, to plan how to approach minister to escalate your case (Note: In this case, you've to address the issue that you've authorized Zarnab to handle your application). I think you've a solid reason to use Minister's channel as you've already crossed the published timeline. Good luck.
  8. Ok thanks for reply. I can see the pain people go through after such a generic email where no specific progress is shared. You've passed the standard timeline of processing now. Did you guys consider approaching DHA via a minister? I heard this is the legal channel as well where reply from DHA are more specific to your application, like what halting the prgress of your application. Also DHA responds fatser when approach via minister. Since your case is straightforward like no previous marriage for both of you or overstay visa violation, therefore there is no apparent reason for not getting visa. But there must be something which is halting the progress of your application. Good luck & lots of prayers for you both.
  9. @Kina Sa Did you ever received an automated email saying "We are writing to inform you that your application for a Partner (Provisional) visa is in progress. Your application takes time to process as we complete a number of thorough checks." Same question from you @Dr.samra
  10. completed 14 months of waiting today! Not have a good hope from DHA, but have a very good hope from the Almighty. So can't stop praying. Planning to have a month holiday with wife, IA. Good luck guys!!
  11. Thank you @MrsHzp. Your response and confirmation is much appreciated. Good luck. Hope you get grant soon, IA. Lilly.
  12. Thanks. This PCC is of applicant (wife) who is currently living in Karachi and her PCC validity is going to finish on 30 april (6 months expiry as stated on PCC). I'm just concerned whether to proceed to make new PCC or wait for CO request.
  13. The PCC I got from Karachi says its valid for 6 months. Does DHA has different timeline for expiry, like 12 months?
  14. Its ok. Don't worry about previous status emails, just in future take care. As of now I think you should send update email that you've uploaded the updated PCC. Looks like your visa grant is near, IA. When your PCC was going to expire? And is it Pakistan's PCC? Good luck.
  15. I'm not sure its delayed by 1 month or 2, but I heard from different sources that sending status email delays the process. Good luck @Dr.samra I wish and pray may God help you.
  16. Thank you. I think explaining breakup relationships is better. I didn't did this. Actually we should fill as many gaps as possible. In my case it was khula but NADRA divorced certificate just mentions "divorced" therefore CO might think husband has given divorce when it is actually opposite. Anyways, i think I didn't hide anything and mentioned as much details as possible. Thanks again bro and wish you both a very happy Eid in advance
  17. Many Congratulations !! Could you just tell if your case was straightforward? And when you got married? Thanks and good luck for your future life.
  18. Don't be dishearten and sad. I also realized that I made few mistakes but soon after realizing I updated Notification of incorrect answers under Update details You can do the same. In one of my overseas PCC, the authorities did a typo while printing my passport # so I made a separate document and stated clearly that it is a typo by the issuing body. May be you can do the same. Why to give them a chance to raise any mistake/issue? Good luck
  19. Looks like you are very near to the grant, IA. Didn't you submitted PCCs (16+ years) earlier? Good luck.
  20. Nice news, MA. Many Congratulations for getting visa grant. Could you please share more like when you guys married? Was your case straightforward? And what docs they asked in 2nd email? Thanks
