    @tobeaussieIA just to confirm, your DOL is 23 Feb 2018? And you were on visitor visa to Australia few months back until CO ask you to leave country so that they can decide your app? Kindly confirm, if possible. Thanks

    I think same as well. As @mrs_saeed pointed age difference should not be a problem. But one of my friend raised this issue that bigger age difference between spouses might raise a question in CO's mind that despite having big age difference what attracted spouses to marry? Although, as I said earlier, marriage with 10+ years is almost normal in our culture as we have different mindset/reasoning on age difference when it comes to getting into a long-term relationship, marriage. Anyways, I wish you and all Good Luck!

    Thank you for showing your concern. No pending case in courts. My ex-wife does send me a notice of Khula via court to which I didn't responded as I was living in Australia. We then followed normal islamic khula process. I heard if you don't respond to court's khula notice then court issue divorce decree on your behalf of khula to wife. And case is considered closed. This is my understanding. Thanks Lilly.

    I don't know, but there might be two complexities in my case. However I don't consider both of them as a complexity for a reason. Anyways, these could be: 1) Age difference between me and my wife. Which is over 10 years. CO might raise this question why so much difference? Although it is normal in my family and my wife's family. 2) I had previous marriage and a child from that marriage. But I never sponsored my ex-wife and my child is with my ex-wife. Also my date of divorce and 2nd marriage date do not overlap. I provided all these details with evidences along with my application (40SP/47SP). Thanks. Lilly.

    Hi all. The PCC (Pakistan) of applicant is going to expire by 29 April 2019, whereas 14 months waiting will be completed on 24 April 2019. Do we go to make new PCC after the old one expires or wait for CO to request a new one? Just trying to save time, as what I know PCC takes time to come probably 2 weeks at minimum. Thanks. Lilly.

    Sorry, my wife didn't had interview so far, so I can't comment. But from your timeline, it looks like your case is "actively" progressing ahead. I hope you will listen something soon.

    Make sure you complete forms 40SP, 47SP and ISB AHC checklist (for Pakistani applicants) and upload relevant documents/evidence in ImmiAccount. And if still you think additional evidence will add significant value in your case, then provide. But try to organize it properly and keep them simple. Treating this as the last batch of evidence you will be providing until unless asked again for any further evidence/documents by CO; Until then you should wait and keep collecting logs of chat, finance, calls, gifts, receipts during this waiting period.     My DOL is 24/02/2018 and I haven't received interview call as well. I'm assuming probably they won't call if they have enough relationship evidence. Good luck.

    I've received the same email on 24/02/2019 that your application is in progress and currently going through a thorough checks. Previously I received additional docs email on 22/11/2018. I assume they're working on our applications and as soon as they've something valuable, they'll contact us or grant visa directly.

    Probably you've provided all the requirements including the one specific from ISB office checklist. If this is the case, then there is no point CO contacting you for further/missing documents. What is your status in ImmiAccount?

    Many Congratulations Nice to know some good news coming on. When did you updated CO about pregnancy?

    Just notice processing time on immiAccount is changed from 14-19 months to 14-20 months. Not a big change though. However, the main visa info page on department site is giving old timeline i.e: 75% of applications: 14 months 90% of applications: 19 months Good luck all.

    It will do good for sure as, as a rule of thumb the more evidence you provide the more stronger your case become. So providing your Emirates ID supports your claim further that you lived in UAE. Good luck. This time will pass too and soon your wife will be granted visa, IA
