  1. It was just a suggestion. Probably there will be no duplicate Emirates ID. But there is no harm in trying/asking. I recently did UAE PCC and to the best of my knowledge without Emirates ID its difficult to get PCC online. I did mine online and got in 24 hrs, but using Emirates ID. CO is probably asking for Emirates ID with or without visa cancellation should not matter.
  2. They didn't ask you for UAE PCC? Contact UAE embassy that how you can get duplicate Emirates ID. UAE has some good eGovt portals may be from their you can apply for duplicate ID or sent email to the concerned authority. Worst is you find Emirates ID number and provide that. Good luck.
  3. Better find Emirates ID (copy or scanned document). Because, if you've lived more than 12 months in last 10 years in UAE then probably you've to provide UAE PCC. And if you've Emirates ID (copy) process of getting UAE PCC is 4 days via online otherwise very long process. So its better to search your Emirates ID. Worst is you find Emirates ID Number and I think via that you can submit online PCC. Good luck.
  4. I'm sorry to hear that. You better plan your visit as early as possible and as soon as you do this please update your CO with your plan. May be right after booking the tickets so that you can attach a copy of your ticket in your update email to CO. We know one case here of our fellow member @Jibran whose application got rejected for not visiting his wife and son for a long time during waiting period. So kindly take safe decisions and don't hesitate to seek professional advice from any good registered agent. Good luck. Lilly.
  5. Did you think for applying tourist visa for your husband? I dont know your case would be treated as straightforward or complex. Good luck.
  6. Did you contacted CO for follow-up? Is your case straightforward? Like no previous marriage etc?
  7. I received the same email exactly after completion of one year. I applied last year on 24 Feb 2018. Good luck.
  8. 1000+ pictures are definitely quite enough. Assuming you guys have visited / celebrated each day of a 33 days visit, I would say, giving at least 2 pictures per day event / visit that will make total of 66 pictures. One document cannot be more than 5 MB, I would say, make two PDF documents, Part I and Part II, and put 33 pictures per document in a chronological order with a one line description explaining event / visit followed by 2 pictures. You have to make all margins 0.5 cm so that you can cover maximum event / visit on one page. My main intention is to cover every event / visit during 33 days. Also don't forget to include pictures from social gatherings, with your family & friends. Good luck.
  9. Did you replied to CO's email that you uploaded all the additional docs that CO requested? It's 9 months now, so probably you've to wait. If you're lucky enough then you'll get before current processing timeline. Good luck.
  10. Are you Pakistani applicant? The email you received was an automated email? And what exactly it said? Thanks.
  11. I think keeping a balance approach would be better. For example, until visa is granted, sponsor shall visit wife in Pakistan let's say after every 4-6 months and then stay there for another 2-4 months depending upon the situation. CO usually ask for last 5 salary slips, letter of employment and tax assessment summary for recent years of sponsor. The value of these documents become more important if applicant has mentioned that he/she is financially dependent on sponsor. In this situation, CO wants to check whether sponsor can support financially to applicant or not? Good luck. Lilly.
  12. Yes, emailed them in Jan '19 and didn't received any response. However, got automated reply exactly after completion of one year saying "Your application in progress and going through a thorough checks". Nothing after that. It may be 21-24 months. But out of the two persons I know in-person got their visa in 10 and 12 months respectively. One of them applied in Dec '18 and got visa in Dec '19, whereas the other person applied somewhere in mid 2018 and got visa after 10 months. They both were newly married and their cases were straightforward. So you mean even their case was complex (divorced and have kid) got visa in 9 months? Assuming applied in March '18 and got visa in Dec '18? In a total of 19 months of relationship since our marriage, I stayed total 8 months with my wife. First 4 months straightway after marriage and then again 4 months after being away for 6 months. I reckon this is awesome time period to show our strength and love towards our relationship. Having said that, I don't think DHA / CO, should assess relationship bond strongness based on the process' waiting time, that how the couple handled relationship while being away? Instead, as @Hawar19Jan pointed out earlier, if DHA / CO wants to investigate the continuity and genuineness of relationship then do the basic level investigation in 6 months and issue 309 visa. And once the applicant is in Australia on 309 visa, then do their detailed investigation / checks. If all Ok, then issue 100 visa else deport the applicant. They can do better monitoring of applicant-sponsor while both are in Australia. Note: Remember 309 is a provisional visa not a permanent visa whose main purpose is to assess the continuity and genuineness of relationship in a 2 year span and then grant 100 if all good. In other words applicant has to wait for 2 years before getting 100 permanent visa. So actually applicant is waiting total 2 times, one before getting 309 and one after getting 309. Isn't it ridiculous? Best of luck to all the waiting applicants Lilly.
  13. I hope you will get your visa soon as you're almost finishing your 14 months timeline. My case involves divorce but I never had sponsored my ex wife and my kid is with my ex wife. All this information I've given in 40SP/47SP and NADRA Family certificate giving details of my kid. Attached all relevant certificates/evidences in immiAccount. I don't think my case should be treated as complex as I never sponsored my ex wife. Second marriage date and ex wife divorced date do not overlap as well (on paper as well). Good luck. Lilly.
  14. Probably because you've uploaded/provided all the required documents. I didn't received generic email, rather only few additional docs email as I already provided most of the generic email stuff. Good luck. Lilly.
  15. I never find reason for this email that why some people received this email and some not? The only reason I can think of is that only those applicants received this email whose application is going to take longer than normal, as email says, "thorough checks" which I'm assuming will going to take more time than "normal/mandatory checks". Just an assumption, nothing concrete. Good luck Lilly.
  16. I received same email on completion of one year of lodgement. It was an automatic email which I received on Sunday. Before receiving this email did you sent any email to immigration for visa status? Good luck Lilly
  17. The Department of Home Affairs has published some statistics on Fraudulent applications for Partner visa: Year: 2014-15: 187 applications refused where fraud was recorded Year: 2015-16: 278 applications refused where fraud was recorded Year: 2016-17: 365 applications refused where fraud was recorded Year: 2017-18 to 30/4/18: 273 applications refused where fraud was recorded Grand Total: 1,103 Above refusals include where fraud was done on both the identity and the bogus document/false information or misleading information using Public Interest Criteria (PIC) 4020. 18. That's beautiful decision. You can upload in immiAccount under "Attach documents --> Couple are living together, Evidence of" When you visit your wife then make sure you take pictures from your airport arrival with your wife receiving you at airport, and take picture of each day with your wife and relatives capturing each moment you both spent during your stay. It may include, dinning out, going for shopping, visiting relatives, and other social get together. Put all these pictures in a chronological order along with your return ticket in a word document and upload this once your're back. The whole purpose is to show evidence to CO that you visited wife, enjoyed lovely time, and have a very lovely and genuine relationship. You can also put receipts of dinning out, and shopping etc. Good luck. Lilly.
