    Yay for your plan B! I hear what your saying... would be so much nicer not to have to rely on someone but Atleast you have a plan B that’s awsome! My partner is a sparky so we have a plan B also- he has transferred his skills here over the past few months but if we are refused we may have to go home to reapply because an EOI can be sitting in the system for months... and a friend of mine applied for another visa as a backup through her partners skill and it bloody cancelled out the other one... she had an immigration lawyer and everything and it just wasn’t picked up until the dreaded email from immigration telling them they were basically illegal!!! After a tearful goodbye it ended up a happy ending for them and they managed to convince immigration it was an honest mistake and stay... they are still awaiting there visa but Atleast there here... anyway the point in story time with Bella is ... it makes me worried to even put an EOI in whilst this one is pending just in case it gets cancelled out... so let’s just sit tight I guess...

    HEENA, I am so so sorry I have some how overlooked this message! I had no Aussie experience at the time of applying for my 186 visa... What did you end up doing?? Are you in canbara? Regards

    What salon are you at? I worked at blowbar shibumi! Loved all the girls there so much... i miss it! How comes its taken you so long to submit application? They have just increased the waiting time to 16 months for DE. Are you a member of the 186 visa forum too?

    YEP!!! And the worst part... being scared to go on holiday or leave the county whilst you are on bridging visa - in case you are refused whilst you are away and can't get back in! I am actually a prisoner... You can officially call me a POM!

    I agree. I have to go back to the UK for my brothers wedding, my best friends wedding, my 30th birthday plus both the hen parties in May next year... This means i will have a 4 month break from Oz (and after 5 years away from home at that point it will be a welcomed holiday which i am very very much looking forward too) ....anyway, i was hoping my PR would have come through by then- considering i would have been waiting for 2 years at that point but now i'm concerned.

    Is that up or down for you? DE is a 4 month increase! That's a more then 30% increase on the waiting time in just 1 month... LIKE HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE???? @Parkesy

    No.... for DE its changed to 11-16 months on our immi log in/application. So i read that as 75% are done within 11-16 months ... It has increased so much this month...its unreal ?

    Yes and there is Das from the UK patiently waiting off shore since Oct 16 as well! Based on you guys i still have a lovely 7 month road ahead of me... lets hope they pick up there game!!
