    Usually the person that recieves the grant would update- I always update my own line (apart from when the knob end who recons he’s the boss of the spreadsheet just starts deleteing people ) - the person with the permissions to the spreadsheet - in my opinion will not own up! Because they went through and made totally unreasonable changes a while back - which by the way in case you haven’t realised by now I haven’t got over

    Parveen: My nomination says FINALISED My own visa application says: RECEIVED Therefore my nomination is APPROVED but my PR is not granted as they have not looked at my personal file yet only my company one. So i am finalised in one element and still showing received in the next. I have access to my company Immi account and just look at my application through that.

    no!!!! i mean my account just says RECEIEVED! LOL ITS NOT GRANTED! ITS NOT EVEN OPEN - I DON'T KNOW WHY??? Maybe my wonderful Case officer went to the beach today? There IS a heatwave in QLD.....

    Thanks! Thank you! I NO!!!! I can't believe it still - total shock! i genuinely believe that the nomination is the hardest part and so 90% is done now and its a huge relief - the rest is just kinda formality....make sure we aren't dying, make sure we aren't criminal masterminds and make sure our relationship is real... I'm really hoping for good news today- I've put on my PR celebration dress and and doing my law of attraction dance!

    Were your details put on the spreadsheet? The case Officer told my employer yesterday afternoon that she could tell the company really cared because they provided SO much evidence. I just continually updated our file - we exceeded the maximum of evidence last year and i just used to jump on managers email and send documents direct. That's the only advice i can give! The more information the better! Has your nomination been approved?

    Yes it defo does as i was told when i was transferred by doctor that i wouldn't have to pay if i had medicare then when i went back for the scan a few days later to a total different department in the hospital the lady on the counter looked like she had seen an alien! I am in a regional town though - probably don't get many foreigners! haha

    Yes it defo doesn't cover ambulance costs- you can get special ambulance insurance and its so worth it!!! (especially if you like skiing),

    Hi, I know from personal experience it doesn't cover all. I had to have a radiology scan back in August and i was not covered because of the colour of my card! - Total Racism! haha! We laughed - but i still had to pay!

    MY NOMINATION JUST GOT APPROVED! IT WENT FROM RECEIVED STRAIGHT TO FINALISED! IT WAS AN HOUR AGO BUT IV'E JUST STOPPED CRYING! Now for my PR ...... I'M JUST PRAYING THEY DON'T ASK FOR AN UPDATE ON DOCUMENTS AND GIVE ME A STRAIGHT APPROVAL!

    I HOPE SO! AAAHHHH! Thanks for the reply Eddy, You used to be able to flick right back through years of data on the spreadsheet so could see a pattern of when immigration visited or called and how soon after anything else happened however some dum dum didn't realise the significance of data prior to the oldest waiting case on the spreadsheet and so deleted all the old sheets (this annoys me almost every time i look at the thing) So your info really has helped- my case still says received as well so i'm really hoping and praying for a direct grant here!

    THAAAAAANK YOOOOOOU THAAAAANK YYYOOOOOOUU I NO! I CANT BELIEVE IT - SOMEONE IS ACTUALLY LOOKING.... AAAHHHHHH. THANK YOU! Hey.... all of my details are in my signature ........ SO HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD IMMIGRATION CALL OR TURN UP AND HAVE VISA GRANTED???? IF SO HOW LONG WAS THE GAP????

    Okay so I just found out immigration called my work today - I was there but they Asked for my full name and everyone knows me as Bella not my full name.... Apart from that it all seemed pretty positive! My company and my own file still say “recieved” which is strange because she gave my employer the impression she had looked through all of the files and didn’t need anymore information. i feel abit sick because someone has finally looked at the file god knows how I’m going to feel when I actually get a decision... now for my question... has anyone else had immigration turn up or call and if so how long after did a visa decision happen.... My god I’m praying for a Christmas present!!!! Ill update the spreadsheet in a moment. thanks in advance!

    FYI Timelines mean absolutely nothing. When i applied 19 months ago it was 6-8 months Then changed to 8-10 months Then Changed to 12-15 months Then changed to 15-18months Then changed to 16-19months Your only allowed to contact immigration about your visa once its outside these "timelines" .The ever changing goal post! Well my visa is at 19months - but following the pattern of every change and goal post move of the past it will probably be increased again by the time i reach outside of the "timelines" So i'll just continue to wait patiently with no contact made whats so ever! My best advise is IGNORE the time lines- its only applicable to a tiny handful of certain jobs- of which we have no information. Best to follow the pattern of your profession from the spreadsheet- it does offer a small indication as to what time frame you will be looking to wait. I am 99% sure immigartion complete priority by jobs... as a hairdresser i knew i was up for a long wait, especially given my profession has since been removed from the list/ Also some better advice: Just enjoy yourself whilst your here and have the opportunity too! For those of us onshore we are in a better position then offshore- i mean at least we are here in this gorgeous country whilst we wait. MAKE THE MOST OF IT! HAPPY HUMP DAY! DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY!!!

    OMG Cristinamia. Seriously this is the best post ever. Thanks so much. I will have to look at my own specific circumstances as you have advised because i was on a working holiday visa before i was employed and so my working rights changed to being able to work for an employer for longer than 3 consecutive months as soon as i applied for 186 visa so im probably in some grey area some where with what rules i fall under but my goodness you have given me some hope! Thanks so much!!

    I can’t miss my brothers wedding and my best friends wedding- I’m 100% going back. There’s no question on that. Guess I should just hope they approve my visa- it will be 24 months by that point .... I mean surely they will open it soon!
