  1. Nope, minimum 3 years and maximum it's depending on visa subclass. I arrived in Australia on 1st Oct 2012 (457 visa) applied for PR on June 10 2015 PR granted on 23 Oct 2015
  2. Congrats mate. finally your day is arrived... looking forward for @aussiepr and @Mirza.

  4. @ganzToOz, your MA looks very organised as he/she uploaded all the docs well including form 80. ofcourse form 80 is not mandatory however, if you don't provide form 80 and co asked then your application will get delay may be another 28 days. that's why I said your MA is well organised regarding health clearance evidence immi officer will get it directly from Bupa that means we don't need to attach.
  5. @Tej, this discussion group is specific for 186 (PR) allication not for 457 visa. you have to check in below discussion group which is specific 457. http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/migration-issues/225512-457-current-processing-times-139.html
  6. Ofcourse, they will decide whether monitoring require or not after open the file. Let's hope for the best they will satisfy with you documents (pays, leaves etc...).
  7. I afraid (may be i'm wrong), your file will not open unless your colleagues monitoring completed.

  9. as long long your 457 visa is valid you can fly it doesn't affect in your visa. I've seen many ppl traveled after submitting the extra docs, even one of mate got approved while he is in overseas. so don't worry and plan your trip.
  10. what I heard is: if CO need monitoring then they will email to MA/Employer and saying that we need to do monitoring. let me know if i'm wrong.
  11. Don't worry mate, Not necessary they will do the monitoring for each and every case. Remember, Every tunnel has end and your tunnel will end soon.
  12. Mate, there is no different between "Assessment in progress" and "application received". 80% to 90% cases status shows "application received" and rest of the cases status shows "Assessment in progress".
  13. Ok, what i've seen so far is: immi do the monitoring for those ccupation is machanic/restaurant manager etc.... only. in that case chances are very less (almost null) to do the monitoring in your case.
  14. we'll be sailing on same boat mate, see my timelines below: 1st Oct 2012: Entered Aus with 457 sponsored visa (Myself, wife & Child) 10 June 2015: 186 PR applied 23 Oct 2015: 186 PR granted In this case I’m eligible to apply for citizenship on 24th Oct 2016, however I’ll apply for citizenship on 1st November for the safer side.
  15. Hey, I already suggested exactly same line via online survey when I got an email from "Department of Immigration Visa Services" Guys, once you get PR most probably they might send you an online survey invitation about your feedback then please I suggest them same thing so that they may add this service in future.
