Hey Mate, Looks like in 2016 PR applications has too much for immi officers compare to 2015. Because in 2015 I've lodged my application in June and got my PR on Oct (withing 4 months). same thing for my colleagues they got PR within 4 months. However in 2016 2 more colleagues applied in March'16 they are still waiting for PR (we all are in same position and similar packages) that means immi offices are overloaded in 2016. I really Hope you will get ur PR before end of 2016.

Yes, mine was valid at the time of application. I've re-apply in 3 weeks before it get expire. As soon as I got new AFP and PCC I've uploaded straightaway without waiting for CO request.

You don't have to worry about your visa application as you have already applied within timeframe. Re. visa approval; it's very difficult to predict nowadays by when will approved. it's all about case officer (CO) by when they will assign, however once CO assigned then within two weeks they will get back you for sure. Just to Make sure you attached all the required document, if not, then do it ASAP before CO request to avoid a delay. Another point to let you know that AFP/PCC is valid only for 12 months, if your AFP/PCC is around 11 months old then i suggest you to re-apply soon. Lastly, if you haven't fill your form 80 then better to prepare now, sometime CO may request form 80. if you follow above rules then your visa will approved straight away as soon as CO assigned.

Good to know that your MA requested all the document so this will avoid delay ur application. I've seen some MA's uploaded few documents in the initial stage which caused delayed the processing. Below two more documents you need to upload/provide to ur MA which is: 1) Birth Certificates 2) Current Address proof (such as: electricity bill / rent aggreement etc..) All the best for your application!

That's a good spirit you must have to help each other rather than pulling. No, I haven't submitted my bank statement. They can track if they wish to based on our payslips which was provided by our employer in nomination application.

You must have a birth certificates based on passport from Indian embassy in Australia if you don't have original. (I did mine based on passport because I've same situation like u) So don't waste your time and apply ur birth certificates from Indian embassy as soon as possible because they will take 3-5 weeks to issue ur birth certificates once u applied.

Hey @mirzaa, I don't think immi find reasons to cancel nominations BUT their duty to check each and every scenario has to match with 457 and 186. My suggestion to @damodar, you have to re-apply as early as possible using correct nomination number (ANZSCO = 261212). I've seen few ppl in this forum who re-applied their nomination which was granted successfully.
