Also meant to chime in in the student midwife bit, they are fantastic, And it really helps them too. If you can get one, I'd highly recommend it.

I'm a huge fan of water births, although wasn't allowed to have one because of my bmi with regards to having a birth plan, I really really believe you will gave a better labour if you have a "plan". It's not so much that you control every step, more that you understand each step, and that your midwifery team can give you a labour a close to the one you imagined as possible. Remember, contractions intensify with fear, staying calm and relaxing your entire body can help reduce pain and make labour go quicker. Watch a few water births online with your DH, they might inspire him. Also check out "the business of being born" by Ricky lake, it's a bit preachy but it's informative, and your husband might change his mind about opting for the epi straight away (I'm not anti epidural, I've had two, but the labour I did without it was way better, and the recovery was much quicker). best if luck with it, I'm very jealous! Even though I only did it six months ago, I'd do it again tomorrow!

Well that's another week over, another week closer question for everyone, what is the biggest difference your PR will make to your life? Be it finally being able to book flights or telling your 457 sponsor to stick it, spill it! For us, the big difference will be not having to pay the new fees for school in wa, from next year it will be $6000 per year for the two kids, really glad we will be avoiding that!

Paul, every wed the immi update an email with details of which applications are being allocated. If you email nsw.pse@immi.gov.au, you receive the email back. I'm not doing it, since I was audited (no big deal, they just emailed me directly to see if I was receiving it) by the dept and I said I wouldn't email anymore! Also, i think that it means the visas are being allocated to co, not necessarily being granted which is why people from arp and may still haven't received the visa grant yet.

Hi, six months ago I had my third baby in kemh in Perth. One of the most wonderful experiences of my life. Couldn't compare it to Ireland. It was inspiring. I'm actually hoping to go on to study midwifery now. I am on a 457. Had to pay for bloods and scan, about $200 and nothing else. I was public, but had my own room in kemh. Good luck!

We live in vic park, just a little 3 bed unit, but it has a garden and in a great spot near schools trains etc. we have 3 kids, no pets. We drive a 2002 Merc ml270, $135 per fortnight repayment and $70 per month ins with youi. We pay about $150 a month on elec, and $130 per fortnight on phones. We have a pretty comfortable life. Not rich, not poor. Lots of friends, lots of fun. We go out to dinner. We go on holidays. We save. I don't work and my husband earns circa $75 per annum. It depends on what you do with your money. And what your expectations are. If you want a big house and a new car, then you can't live on it.

186 ENS Temporary Residence Transition

Hi, I'm not sure about the caution, I hope that they would see it was a long time ago, and just a once off so hopefully it won't be an issue. As for the form 80, don't worry about it, it's looks worse than it is. Just put a night aside, get yourself organised an work through it one section at a time. I wrote everything on scrap paper first and then put it on the form. I did two of them. It's not that bad on e you get into it. Good luck x -
Sorry sikofbrit, it was meant to be wa, not sa. I suck

Congrats ozz2be. Great way to kick off the weekend fiji, have you had any communication from them? Did you put your meds etc in at the same time. it doesn't seem like the HR/LR makes much difference to the processing time, seems to be averaging out at 3 months.

Hi aim. I called WA PSE for an update. The girl I spoke to was extremely nice and tied to help but the info she was able to give was very limited. She was unable to tell me if there was a CO assigned. I emailed them and they sent me an auto response saying "we are currently processing application from May and early June." No of that is particularly helpful so I don't know if there is a point in calling them. On the other hand, it can't do any harm either. I'd recommend taking advantage of the call back service, otherwise you'll be on hold for an age. Hope you get some good news soon!

Oz2be, my MA told me it would be 12 weeks. The timelines people put are nearly 3 months to the day, you might hear something next week? Hope you do

Hi everyone we lodged our ens 186 on June 26. We went thought the trt stream, and are from a low risk country. Our meds went in about two weeks later as did our police clearance certs. Our MA said it'll be 12 weeks from June 36, but I'm hoping it comes sooner than that. Has anyone received an email from wa.pse with an update on what's being processed at the moment? looking forward to chatting with you all over the next few weeks jessie
