  1. Thank's for everyone's information on here - finally granted and timeline below. 186 ENS Direct Entry Nomination lodged 25th August Application submitted 31st August Medical Completed 18th September Nomination Approved 6th December Visa Granted 11th December So about 3 months and 11 days.... Low risk country - also did not complete a form 80 but been here almost four years and work for a company that sponsors quite a few, not sure if that affects it. To answer a previous question I knew my nomination was approved as my employer forwarded the letter they received. Good luck to everyone out there x FYI - I was Melbourne Team 4
  2. Hi all - been lurking this thread for a while, here are my details, hoping to get granted soon  Nomination lodged 25th August Application submitted 31st August Medical Completed 18th September Nomination Approved 6th December So it looks like I am now assigned a CO - assuming all being well it should then be completed in 28 days (if all paperwork correct?). Looking at others dates it seems close from nomination approval to getting visa granted? Good luck all
  3. UPDATE: Health@immi.gov.au just replied and gave me HAPID!! Email them with your application id and details and they will provide it - doing medical now - thanks again for all replies EMAIL THEM IF YOU CAN'T GET YOUR HAPID ONCE SUBMITTED APPLICATION!
  4. Hi Usman - which medical centre? I understand BUPA now do the medicals, having the same problem and have emailed health@immi.gov.au frustrating as wanted to get it all sorted ASAP Will let you all know if / when get a reply
  5. Thanks again for all the replies – funnily I rang IMMI this morning and they were extremely unhelpful. The person I spoke with told me I would have to wait for a HAPID to be provided by my CO and that this could take 6 – 9 months! This seems at odds with what other people I know who have applied recently and also this: http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/health-requirements/arranging-health-exam.htm I will try the above and fingers crossed, worried now I have messed it up and should have done them first / this will slow it down. Cheers again
  6. Hi, Firstly thanks for peoples replies so far – everyone seems mega helpful. So have submitted everything on the weekend for my ENS 186 Temporary Residence Transition – paid and put through and then uploaded all relevant documents. I did not complete my medical before submitting the application (in hindsight I have been told it is quicker to do this and wish I had). Therefore I need to do the medical / get HAP ID but when I click on the link as shown in the pic says that currently not available? (I click on link and it comes up with that screen). If I complete the health assessment to do before Visa I have heard this slows things down, therefore need to use eMedical system. Frustrated as wanted to get everything done ASAP – anyone know how I can get a HAPID / any input much appreciated! Cheers
  7. It stays on your record forever but will not show up in an ACPO check next year (ten years for this particular one, others might take less). So it is always there but might not show up in certain checks. According to some sources in the UK a caution is not deemed as a conviction i.e. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Police_caution http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/10127220/What-accepting-a-police-caution-means.html I believe a conviction means you were found guilty in a court (as opposed to the agreement as above), so you are still guilty and get a caution but you are not convicted (by a court). Other sources I have found are to the contrary - hence me asking! Just worried as don't want to mess up the application but not wanting to pay a migration agent! Cheers for help and again anyone with firsthand experience or migration agents please step forward and put me out of my misery
  8. Thanks Alaska - do have my ACPO done though already and the caution shows up (from 2005), will be deleted next year so frustrating! Leaning towards just saying that I do have a criminal conviction just to keep myself covered, might also try and ring IMMI / get some external advice on this. Cheers for responses, again anyone with first hand experience would love to hear from! Cheers
  9. Thanks MM From what I can work out from searching is that a caution is not a conviction so don't think would declare there. The caution shows in my ACPO. Anyone with any information on police cautions / applying for 186 be greatly appreciated! Cheers
  10. Hi all - some quick Qs as just getting started on the ENS 186 Temporary Transition Application - have a TRN from employer and just getting started, quick searches brought some up but not exactly what looking for. Any help greatly appreciated! 1) As usual place of residence have put my current Australian address (been here 3 years now) - is that right? When asks about previous countries of residence I put my last UK address 2) On skills assessment ticked no, have not had one (as temporary residence transition scheme and been for more than 2 years in listed occupation) 3) On Employment history if you try and put in current role it only lets you put today as end date (even though not finishing?) so do you just put your current job in with today as end date? 4) On Character Declarations it asks the below - now I do have a caution (2005, in the UK) but my understanding is this is not a conviction?! Any help from on this would be amazing! Has any applicant ever been convicted of a crime or offence in any country (including any conviction which is now removed from official records)? Finally this thing freaks me out but from what I can work out is just a caution, The position that this application relates to must be a position that the applicant has been nominated for by their prospective employer. The nomination details provided cannot be verified, please check that the correct details have been entered before continuing. If you proceed with lodging this application and incorrect nomination information is provided, this application may be Refused. I have a ten digit number / letters code in document: 'IMMI Acknowledgement of Application' and is listed as Application ID: then ten digits All a bit daunting but excited.... just want to make sure get it right! Thanks for all your help
  11. Thanks to you both for your help - assuming the CO is from IMMI? Just about to start process, anyone who has any experience in applying with a caution on ACPO any information greatly appreciated. Also a number of people I have spoken to never had to complete form 80. Wishful thinking?
  12. now I am confused! You mean the company? I thought they just give the nomination and that's it as far as their involvement goes?!
  13. Thanks all for the replies - much appreciated. Still waiting for ENS number so can't start application. Don't get it as most people at my work who have done this said they have not completed form 80?! Wishful thinking, looks a pain! Cheers again
  14. Hi TP, Thanks a lot for the quick response - 186 gives lots of results on google but specifically I am asking about police cautions for ENS 186 TRTS which I can't find anything on. Was not sure about form 80 as thought only if from a non English speaking / dodgy country etc. - where are you from / what was your background? Looks like a nightmare form!!!! Many thanks
  15. Hi all - hope you are doing well. I have a few questions regarding the ENS 186 Temporary Residence Transition Scheme – apologies if they have been answered here already but a number of Google searches and looking through the site have yielded nothing… Any help would be great appreciated, to begin with, my situation: Been in Australia for over three years on a 457, from the UK originally - my employer will be nominating me for an ENS 186 shortly, annoying as can't look through online application until get nomination number. My questions: 1) How easy is this to do on your own? Have people generally found it OK or used a migration agent? 2) Do I need to fill out a form 80 generally for this Visa (see below)? 3) I have my ACPO (UK Police Check) and AFP check done - However my ACPO shows a caution from almost ten years ago for possession of a class A drug – will this be an issue and is there anything I need to provide as supporting documentation to overcome this? (i.e. a completed form 80 / other references etc.)? My main concern is the police caution – generally the consensus I see is that people complete ENS 186 TRTS on their own OK but don’t know anyone who has done this with a caution on file. For the purposes of this application, I do not believe this is a conviction, but still worried it will cause a problem. Any help more than welcome – thanks in advance JI have a few questions regarding the ENS 186 Temporary Residence Transition Scheme – apologies if they have been answered here already but a number of google searches have yielded nothing…
