The new processing times for new applicants is 10-14 months
-
I do feel sorry for the ones that have been given 10-14 months wait time. I think 8-9 months was bad enough. I mean you can grow a baby in that time! Fingers crossed the waiting time is reduced

Has anyone been turned down for a 300 visa.

I've been feeling the same even 5 months down the line. I'm not sure when they would say your application has been refused. I think I will worry until that grant email is in my inbox lol -
Which airline would you choose?

I would fly qantas or BA only because I want a non stop flight no waiting around. -
It sucks that it's taking the full 9 months when I've seen people from high risk countries get there visa at 6 months

no we haven't with the wedding and move just couldn't afford to. So I want the next 3-4 months to go very quick lol
-
same as me. will be 14 months apart by the time I get back to aus. It is really hard. I bet your glad your near the end now

Thank you for all the replies. Very helpful. Will definitely be changing my name to me it's a part of getting married. Might keep my passport with maiden name though till the visa process is over
-
I was wondering if anyone could answer this, once I'm married I want to change my last name to my husbands name. So when I apply for my partner visa is it ok that my passport will still say my maiden name or will I have to renew it? Also how do you change your name once your married?

My fiancé is already there so the wait is getting really hard. I love newy can't wait to move
-
i was hoping mine was going to be around the 8 month mark so I can be there for Xmas. I doubt that now. Most grants seem to be very close to the 9 month mark
-
Congrats on the job. Im moving to newcastle. Bit of a wait to go yet. My fiancé says it's been a cold winter this year
-
I bet it's driving you mad. Strange how some people have been getting grants early and then others are waiting the full 9 months
-
Hi jen do you have any idea why your application was granted early? I have been quoted th 8-9 months for my pmv like you. Do you think it helped applying online?
-
I thought it was the same amount of time. I'm waiting for my PMV and have been told 8-9 months

i originally thought it would take 6 months too so booked my wedding for October this year. I had to change the date and provide my case officer with an updated letter from my celebant she didn't want a new NOIM done just the letter
