Well he should know what's going on. If he can't even give you an idea of why there is a delay it might be worth checking out your agent a little bit more.

Is it a case of the greater your points are above 60 the quicker your visa will be granted?

Can't imagine anyone is being able to answer this question however, if your occupation is flagged on the sol, does this mean it's likely to be removed come July or does it just mean may be looked at? Cheers

I might be wrong but, I don't think PGCE's are recognised by which ever assessment agency you would have to go through to get your visa. Check that tho.

thank you for that info. I'm aware that the tourism will drop but there just seems to be so many restaurants/hotels around the Sunshine Coast that In finding it hard to see how it would be difficult for me to find a job there.

I looked into this and I couldn't find many people who managed to get a successful re-mark. I also read that it can take up to 3 months to get it done. My advise would be to just take the test again and make sure you understand what they are looking for in the writing part, which is an argumentative essay. If I can manage to get 7.5 in writing I'm sure someone like your self who is comfortable in writing essays can easily get the 8 you require. Just make sure you are giving them what they want.

Burton is also the best place to take the test as well

So today I got an email saying that I have passed the first stage of the skills assessment. I now need to fill out a small form asking me to pay for either a technical($1400AUD) or practical($1500AUD) assessment. Just waiting to find out which I should be applying for.

The reading got me twice. Did the reading include Cornish buses and Barcelona this time? I struggled not to answer all the true and false questions as false as Cornish buses may aswell not exist hahahaha. Any ways I finally passed after 4 attempts!!!!! Don't give up! With your other scores, you sound like you got unlucky! You will smash it next time!!!!!!
