  1. Took me ages to do ours, digging up info, searching the net for addresses of places of work from eons ago. I gave them everything from education to current job. Our agent said only to do what was relevant to current job but I googled it. Ignored her;) I don't have any faith in her at all, unfortunately. If we'd known about this when she lodged the EoI, we would have had plenty of time........grrr. Am fed up ping ponging info to her! Uploaded everything she needs to lodge visa application...waiting for her to confirm.....waiting, still waiting...

    Form 80

We've been asked by our Agent to fill in a Form 80 for both of us....blimey, it's a big one! Taking me forever.....
  4. Wow, things are moving for you guys. Keep us posted with your progress. So exciting!!! Will be interested in secondary school choice. If all goes to plan, I'll have an almost 12 year old needing one and an almost 9 year old for a primary school:-)
  5. South Australia for us.
  6. Blimey, that's a very long time. Hope all goes well for the visa app :-)
  7. Hi Holspols, We've just received our EoI invite after 10 weeks of waiting..phew. Hoping to lodge visa this month:-)
  8. In shock! Invite has happened!!!:jiggy:...still think it took too long but phew!

    Visa granted

Brilliant news, Bal. Best of luck.x
  10. Patience is key to this process. But after 10weeks..eek! I just want to make sure all the T's are crossed and i's dotted:-) His occupation is ICT Manager.135199 I will ask the question about a direct application. Your advice is much appreciated. If only we had discovered this site before beginning the process..Hindsight is a wonderful thing
  11. Hi Adam, Thank you for your reply. As far as I know, (OH was originally sorting this, but he's working away at the mo), there was a commitment statement written for SA. I have no faith in the agent I have talked to OH about changing agents but he says we are so far down the line and have paid for everything to date. How can I chase this? We were told by the agent our EOI was lodged the end of October 2013. Her email reply this morning was, every case is different and we have to wait. I am concerned we're missing something. ;(
  12. 10 weeks and still no invite...grrr....:arghh: Agent says they have submitted EOI for 190 visa for SA and are still waiting for feedback... If this was the average time, I'd be more patient but I see lots of folk getting theirs well within the time period allocated, which is fantastic! Firstly am worried there is a problem, and secondly, time is of the essence. My oldest is due to start secondary school in Sept. We hoped to be (if visa granted) in Australia by then. ...breathe...it is hard to forward plan.....x
  13. It could be my understanding of the whole process. OH has been dealing with the process, now I need to chase it. 10 weeks is too long IMHO. Am spending the next few days, checking our details and process to ensure we are on track.
  14. Our EoI (SA) was submitted end of October. OH has done all the ELTS and passed Skills Assessment. A little frustrated as I thought we would have had the invite back by now. We sent an email to the agent and this was her reply on the 18th Dec. Thank you for your email. Delays can occur for a number of reasons. Processing times do slow down a little during busy periods and especially during the holiday season. Further an invite is dependent on the type of visa applied for. You will not receive an invite until your state sponsorship application has been approved. We are still awaiting feedback from South Australia. Once they have approved your application you will be invited to apply for a subclass 190 visa. Kind regards, Confused, I am.
  15. Good luck, ....we're still waiting for our invite, (190) placed end of October 2013!! beginning to wonder......hopeful for the next round:eek:
  16. Here's the list: https://www.migration.sa.gov.au/SNOL_Data Hope it helps a little. As to what order, I have no idea. It seems very random to me.
  17. Thankyou:-) I've just checked the SNOL list and we still high availability. The timings of responses seem so random, from a few hours to many weeks! Oh boy, fingers and everything else crossed. Wx
  18. What job code are you under? If you don't mind me asking. Yours is all extremely lightening quick.:-)
  19. Thanks for the info. Fingers crossed for the then:biggrin:
  20. When did you send your EoI? Ours was sent on the 29th October and still waiting. Is it still too soon? x
  21. Have now heard back from ACS...looking good, all positive. Unfortunately we're back to attitude from the agent. Apparently we're not her only client and she may try to process our EOI this week, if she has time......of course we are not her only client and we know she may be extremely busy but there are ways of reassuring your client, instill some confidence? If only they didn't have all our money. Hubby demanded to speak to her manager, he has promised all will be sorted...emm. If this all goes through, I will definitely not be recommending this company. I am sure they are good but this girl is so unprofessional, it's unreal. Rant over...still trying to stay positive...
