Hello , Firstly I would like to share this good news with all of you....We got our visa in July 2014. My husband (hotelier - sales division) would be travelling to Sydney in Sept 1st week & I will be leaving in Oct 1st week. (IT - Project Management) I'd think as every other couple, we both are excited and nervous ...both at the same time, because we don't know what future holds for us...I'm sure it will be good though We both do not have jobs in Sydney at this point in time, but we have around 9 yrs of work exp in our relevant fields. I have a few questions ? Hope you guys can help me out (as you always have ) - Is there an Australian format for the CV ? - How much foreign currency we need to carry from India ? Where do we get the exchange done ? (worst case : if we need to go without job for 3 months e.g.) - Generally you have all the major companies & hotels in which area in Sydney ? - Good & cheap accommodation in and around that area ? . We will not prefer sharing ? But around 30 - 35 mins from city should be ok ? Only criteria should be at a walkable distance from local transport. What should I carry from India - Spices (are they allowed) - Utensils ?? - Bedsheets , Pillows ??? Will they not be available in the rented house ? - Do I need to use AIR / SHIP CARGO ? I know these are 22222222 many questions ...but will appreciate your help on this. Thank you

Hi Gidza , We had applied for our visa (190 NSW) on 7th Nov... the CO was allocated on 9th Jan. Till now there has been no sign of visa. Everytime we call them, the only answer that we get is that...it generally takes 6 months... so wait. How did u get in touch with your CO ? Do you have his / her email or contact number ? What are your timelines and for which state you r applying ?

I have done the needful. What I observed was my file number is 13/183**...while all others are 13/6***... why this differance ? Can someone please help

Our application has gone to them on 7th Nov 2013... till now there has been no update When we called them..they mentioned that the CO was allocated on 9th Jan 2014, but we have not heard anything so far... Anyone with the same timelines for NSW 190 visa ?

You got an email from NSW stating what ? When did u lodged your application..mine is 7th Nov. Till now...i hv not heard an update

Hi , I too have applied for NSW sponsorship and we lodged our application on 7th Nov. However there has still not been any update ? Are u applying from India ? What is the date u lodged your application and is it the 190 visa ?
