  1. 2 weeks in....want time to fly but don't want to wish your life away..what a dilemma! :-P x Any more Feb visa folk???
  2. Excellent guys! That's good to hear:biggrin:x
  3. Cheers for that. I reckon we will have a long wait. Thinking ahead to logistics, of schooling, is my main worry. My eldest is due to start secondary school in September. What's the chances of a positive outcome by then? In the meantime, good luck all. Keep us up, with good news:biggrin:x
  4. Is 7 weeks the standard at the mo? Our agent said not to expect to hear for at least 10 weeks.....would be fab if we heard earlier, of course:biggrin:
  5. We did one for each of us, was a long slog but felt good when completed.
  6. Great news, Coolbreeze! Vanduex, Form 80, is not too bad, once you get into it. Feels good when it's done:biggrin:
  7. Got a reply from our agent clarifying what you said. Makes sense, I suppose. Now I'm happy to wait:biggrin:

    Visa Invite!!!

Yes, very! But at least we can comfort each other on here:jiggy:
  9. Thanks for that. Made me wonder, as we had to wait quite a while for the invite. We're using an agent. Visa lodged 1st Feb:-) So waiting the long wait:eek:

    Visa Invite!!!

We may be behind with everything else but that darn Form 80...phew, completed. Love the "waiting for the CO club" Can I join?
  11. Did you have 65 or 60 points? Do the 5 points, really make a difference?
  12. Ah interesting, makes sense, if only our agent would be more forthcoming with general information.:-)
  13. Hi Weaz, we we're told to wait until we were assigned a CO before medicals and police checks. Not sure why...trying to be really really patient.... Any more for the Feb Lodge gang?
  14. Cheers for the reply.I really need to speak to the agent tomorrow. Clarify a few things. I'd rather they were booked and organised. Then wait, the long wait for the CO. Agent, if I had my way, would have had marching orders by now...
  15. Thanks for that. I've read so many threads where people have done them as soon as they have lodged their visas. I couldn't get my head around waiting for the CO. We waited so long for the invite..10 weeks!..., I can't cope with even more delays. We want to (fingers crossed) move in September/October time this year.
  16. Hi Vandeux, did your agent say why he was reluctant, re meds etc before CO? Cheers.:-)

    Visa Invite!!!

Are you waiting for CO before applying for meds and police checks? We have been ordered by our agent to wait but am not so sure. What did your agent recommend. :-)
  18. We've informed by our agent via email..to wait until the CO is assigned and they ask for them. Is this the norm? If only they would lift the phone and explain, instead of sending short abrupt emails, I might understand........ We don't mind waiting, if that's their proceeedure:biggrin:
  19. Finally with 190 Visa lodged 1st Feb 2014..woohoo... When do we book medicals and police checks? Should our agent do this or do we do it independently? I assume our agent will, no doubt, grace us with her infinite wisdom but i need to be sure. x
  20. Thank you :smile:SA Adelaide, hopefully:-) We waited 10 weeks for the EoI, so well used to waiting. Fingers crossed.
  21. Don't spend the money or time on a re mark. re book and do it again. OH did the same, missed out on half a mark. Good luck!
  22. Finally...yes finally, visa is lodged!! So wanted it lodged in January but we think our agent forgot the time difference..say no more! We now have empty pockets! Let the waiting begin. :twitcy: x

    Form 80

I did, month and year. Hoping that's enough as I can't remember exact dates. Mind you, we haven't had any feedback yet.

    Form 80

Took me ages to do ours, digging up info, searching the net for addresses of places of work from eons ago. I gave them everything from education to current job. Our agent said only to do what was relevant to current job but I googled it. Ignored her;) I don't have any faith in her at all, unfortunately. If we'd known about this when she lodged the EoI, we would have had plenty of time........grrr. Am fed up ping ponging info to her! Uploaded everything she needs to lodge visa application...waiting for her to confirm.....waiting, still waiting... For contacts in Australia, we only put my brother in law, he's an Australian Citizen. I didn't put anyone else even though we have other rellies and friends scattered around....
