  1. July is not that far away. As long as they don't move the goal posts.......
  2. I think we all are!! Checking the forum page for this thread everyday! Positive vibes, positive thoughts going your way, Kellie.x
  3. Ok, next stage, Police checks posted off today, fingers crossed. Meds next Tuesday 15th. That's all we can do for now, except spent the next 2 weeks keeping the kids occupied as Oh has to work all holidays:eek:. Stay positive folks!x
  4. More than likely. Maybe with everything uploaded, and the hold up, it will make the decision quicker come July. Long time to wait but.....hoping it's good news for all:-)
  5. Cheers Eddie, boys are 8 and 11. So Xray for older one. The peeing scenario, i know, will be hilarious. My boys will probably question them back..lol.. Fingers crossed all goes well. My poor OH is stressed to the hilt with work, and suffering with continuous colds, now he's worried about the meds! The sooner it's all done the better..... Hoping you hear, good news soon.
  6. Good luck, hope good news follows soon:-) We have our meds on the 15th. (earliest date we could get for family of 4, don't mind really as it coincides with school hols and work commitments) Doing Police checks at the mo. Keep us posted:biggrin:
  7. All these hoops and hurdles.....very stressful....
  8. Ah,phew! It was the questions she asked made me wonder.... Knightsbridge Doctors, London. (sounds very posh) Closest convenient one to us as OH is currently working in the city. Kids are off school on the 15th, so trip up to London will be fun for them.xx
  9. Thanks Kellie. Am just not good with these things, bit of a chicken but need to be chilled about for the kids.x Also, do you need to provide a current smear test result?
  10. @Kellie, don't worry, it will come. Unfortunately when you see lots of others being granted, it drives you mad, wondering why yours is not being sorted. I've been trying very hard not to compare but you can't help it. We all understand and are keeping fingers crossed.x I've just booked our meds and am slightly worried. How intrusive are they, especially for the children? And for me, what do they do? She asked some rather personal questions.... We are a relatively healthy family but it doesn't stop you worrying, does it? x
  11. Medicals booked for the 15th April...eek...what do they do, exactly? My boys need to wee in pot...that's going to be hilarious to start with..:wideeyed: We're a relatively healthy family but currently a tad stressed, hope nothing is unearthed...... @LFC Hopefully, you will hear soon. We were allowing 10weeks for CO allocation. I think anything after that I'd be getting worried.
  12. Don't worry Kellie, it will happen. They don't seem to be very consistent with their handing out of grants. keeping all crossed for you.x
  13. Check the December lodge gang thread:-) Hope you hear v soon.
  14. We did the journey in a big motorhome, drove form Melbourne to Adelaide. My two were a little older but loved it. Lorne, I remember being very quaint. Port Fairy was lovely too. Very windy on the beach, but that was in November. Have a fantastic time. Drive slowly and enjoy it, stop off every now and then. I loved the houses on stilts on the hillside!
  15. Lots of folk have done theirs up front:-) Depends on your timescale. You only have a year after them to validate visa.Good luck.x We were advised to wait for a CO first by our Agent..
  16. To be honest, I wasn't expecting a CO at 7 weeks, you could have knocked me down with a feather..lol... Happy, though. Now to book the meds etc. Hopefully, this means processing is still happening.....Good luck everyone. Keep us all posted:biggrin:
  17. Case Officer allocated today!! Request for Medicals and Police checks! 7 1/2 weeks after lodgement, if that helps with the general timeline.x
  18. Chin up, Kellie, am sure it will not be long. :-)
  19. According to our agent, we are not affected by the delays...and need to just wait for the CO. All we can do at the mo, is be patient and wait for good news. It's Friday, tomorrow is weekend:-)
  20. We're in the UK. That's good news. As long as CO's are being allocated, it means processing is still happening.:-) Our agent said not to expect a CO for at least 10 weeks. So anything sooner than that is a bonus:-) Which state was it for? 189's are being processed quite quickly. 190's have slowed in pace for SA.
  21. No CO yet and we lodged 1st Feb....... If the ceilings have been reached for this year, we may need to be patient till July:biggrin:
  22. Hope you have good news, soon, Coolbreeze:biggrin:
