That made me chuckle....:-) I use my iron for pressing fabric when I sew/dressmake etc...very rarely use in in the normal domestic ironing way. That's a good price, so I'll not worry:smile:x

I've got an american style side by side Fridge Freezer..the question is, should it bring it or sell it? Had a look at that appliance online site, washing machines seemed very reasonable. Will need one as we need to leave ours here as rental company want it in the spec. Thought Irons were quite expensive, though. Can you haggle for better prices if you buy a few items or so in these places?? :wink:

I've got shells collected by my kids ( not that many, just a few with good memories) and a lovely wind chime. So stick them in my cabin bag when we fly over and it should be ok?

What's the deal with sea shells? Wondering why they would be a problem?:wink:

I've got Crown and Robinson's lined up for quotes. They both came across as very professional on the phone. The young lad at Crown was very pleasant and polite. Hi all, Is it sensible to rent short term holiday let for a month in Nov 2014, and hope to acquire a long term rental by beginning of December in Adelaide SA? I was hoping to short term rent for Nov/Dec, then secure a long term rental for beginning of Jan 15. But I can't find anything suitable over Dec....all booked by the looks of it:( :eek: Any advice from those who have moved already??? :hug: Cheers x

We flew with them in an A380 in 2012 to Australia for a holiday. Found them great all round. Even on one of our flights they had us on separate seats from our kids, they realized when we booked in, apologized and changed it . My eldest (aged 9 at the time) loved the attention from the lovely ladies and kept pressing the attendant button.....

Sanity, long since went....lol....and yes, the real fun starts now.:yes:. Where to start????

Hi guys, Got a call from our agent this morning....you'll never guess but...woohoo... VISA GRANTED......still in shock, to be honest. Now to tell the family....:eek:. After 3 years of contemplating, nearly 1 year of processes, nearly 6 months of waiting..... Am going to need a large drink tonight.:smile:. I am destined to be the last one...lol...we've had to wait maximum time for anything else to do with our visa, so why not the grant.....:eek:.
