  1. Morning Alan humph, this silly o'clock is driving me mad. Ever since we exchanged contracts on the house I've been up at 4 or 5 am. Just occasionally I get the luxury of 6am. Must be my mind trying to switch me to Ozzie time! Hoping for a late May processing date so that next week it might possibly be approaching June 14 for me! Julie
  2. Hi Alan up since 5 Am pinged off 3 test emails, nothing either! please IMMI put us out of our misery! Julie
  3. Hi Steve unfortunately the place we usually stay at in Mt Martha is also fully booked, not having a lot of luck at the moment Sorry to hear that you may loose your land. These delays are so frustrating we have no control over anything. think we are going to go to Spain for a couple of weeks, it's cheaper and with the exchange rate being so bad we need to economise and a trip off shore in Oz is not something we fancy shortly after a 24 hour flight to Oz. I know it will all come right in the end but at the moment just having a bad day. Julie
  4. Hi Alan can't see why it wouldn't. Maisie's timeline from CO was 35 days to pre grant, so counting back on the calendar (as we have) you do need to hear pretty quickly! if we don't hear by 12 May we are homeless and can't go to Oz either as our daughter is also between homes until early July. no pressure IMMI! Julie
  5. Sorry if anyone has taken offence against my comment, I only knew it was yet another public holiday in Oz, not that it was Anzac Day! Of course it s an important day. julie
  6. Hi i seriously got the hump last night when I found out that next Monday is a public holiday in Oz. "That's another day they are not working on our applications" :arghh: Julie
  7. Hi Maisie So very pleased for you, enjoy your trip to NZ and especially the re entry to OZ as a fully paid up member of the 143 club! oh really come on IMMI I think we are all getting closer, can't wait for the next test update. Julie
  8. Hi Maisie whoohoo whoohoo whoohoo, so pleased for you! You will be out of the door any second, shuffle up everyone! Julie
  9. hi Steve having exactly the same sort of day as you, loosing the will..... I'd also be interested to hear if anyone has not had to go offshore once in Oz for visa grant. It would make our situation much more manageable. Hang on in there, I think the weekends are always worse because we know no one is working on our applications. Julie
  10. Hi we lodged the same day as you and we are also anxious for hap nos but it is still too soon to ask. I'm going to try when their processing dates get to the end of May 14 (they are on 6 May at the moment) unless of course a case officer contacts me first. Another member who lodged on 24th June was told it would be mid May 16 before we were likely to hear. It's all very frustrating! Julie
  11. Hi Val just had the reply they are still stuck on 6th May 14, no change from last week, For goodness sake!!!!!! julie
  12. Whoopee Maisie, come on IMMI Maisie is almost there. anyone had an update on the test email today? Julie
  13. Hi Maisie Thank you so much for the update and I really hope that you now get a quick turnaround of the AOS and grant of your visa. I feel like I've aged 10 years too.... julie
  14. Hi Phil Form 80 already done and waiting for it to be requested..... The less said about the exchange rate the better....... Who wants a referendum anyway?..... so if we all club together and buy Tata steel Uk, and all vote in favour of staying in the EU........ Life will be wonderful and to over 2 dollars to the pound. what else can they throw at us? as you say, just a few major mountains to move. julie
  15. Hi Alan i know what you mean, as soon as we've had the request for meds we will feel better, just hope they ask us to do the AOS at the same time. The thought of having to wait for some "government official" at Centrelink to process a piece of paper is doing my head in! Julie
  16. Hi Maisie so pleased to hear that they have asked for the money for the AOS. I am watching your progress very carefully as I think all applicants from June 14 onwards are in for a similar process. When you finally get your AOS and IMMI have received confirmation, would you mind posting how long the whole process took? we move out of our house in 9 weeks and haven't Been asked for anything yet by IMMI so feeling very anxious. Going to do the police report and get that out of the way. Julie
  17. Hi Maisie Everything crossed for you, you'll soon be walking towards the exit door of the waiting room. Julie
  18. Hi Sadge not that many going to Victoria, probably the silly climate, four seasons in a day! Still it's warmer than the UK and our family is there! It's taken us a while to sell our property as it is also a business, so we are glad to be off, if we don't get our visa then we intend to split our time between UK and Oz. Either way will be glad to get on with the move. Julie
  19. Hi Sadge You are just a day after my lodgement, don't know about you but I've just about had enough of waiting for IMMI to contact us. My patience is just about worn out, I like to be organised and have stuff completed in plenty of time, but this is all doing my head in. Still i'm so busy sorting, sifting and selling in readiness for our move in June that I suppose time will get a move on. are you ready to move to Oz or got a house to sell? When do you aim to be in oZ? Happy to keep in touch. Julie
  20. Hi Phil Blimey you shot through the door faster than the speed of sound! Many congratulations. As you say if IMMI organise themselves it really can go quickly. Well we live in hope! julie
  21. Hi Geoff and Gill it seems everyone is going to Perth so it,s great to find someone else who will be heading to Melbourne. Keep in touch! Julie
  22. Hi anyone for socialising in Melbourne, Mornington Peninsular? Not there yet but should be by July 16! Julie
  23. Hi Fisher you made me laugh, that's just the sort of thing we would do! many congratulations and a a happy new life in Oz. Julie
  24. Hi, from looking at various comments it would seem that IMMI are requesting the AOS at different times and that this can cause a significant delay. Harleyphil completed his is January and has 2nd VAC requested and Maisie whose lodgement date is earlier is stuck waiting for her AOS to be approved. If IMMI are using different methods of asking for the AOS how can they possibly grants visas in order of lodgement date? seems to me that applicants from May 14 onwards are all going to be stuck waiting for Centrelink to process the AOs,s. Julie
  25. Hi Phil wow wow wow straight to request for 2nd VAC, amazing. shuffle up everyone the exit door is getting closer.... Julie
