Hi folks, my dilemma is that I turn 40 on sept 23rd! We are lodging EOI this week for 189 visa and the next round of invites is sept 16th. My question is, is it possible to be invited to apply for visa only a couple of weeks prior to next round? Like nic1171 said if its nursing you have to do the academic one and get 7 in each part, if you need extra points you have to get 8s. I have a nursing degree and have just done a pgdip but had to do IELTS xx Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

How long does it take for anmac to receive NMC verification? The NMC sent it on 4th April and it was never received so they have just sent another! I would of had my LOD by now if they hadn't lost my documents!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

I'm so angry at the moment, I have been waiting for 17 weeks for skills assessment and I have just received an email telling me NMC and IELTS are missing! they received my documents the 24th April!! im just giving up hope lol!! seems like its taking forever and like you guys im getting fed up of people asking when we leave!!

Hi there we are planning on moving to Australia next January/February with our miniature labradoodle. I rang the vets to arrange the rabies vaccine which was given on 4/6/13, they also gave him a lepto 2 booster! I have heard that they shouldnt be given a lepto vaccine as it will show up on the blood test and he wont be able to travel. I'm so confused now. When is it wise to do the RNATT blood test? will this hold us up now? Nicky

Hi There, I am in the same situation, I qualify as a health visitor in September and want to move to Melbourne but im not prepared to study for midwifery as well!! so I think we are going to look at new south wales. Im not sure how to go about it as there are obviously none of these specialists on the forum. But we can share info when we get some. xx

Hi there, I sent a certified copy of my passport, birth certificate, reference, stat decleration about studying high school in english, marriage cetificate, divorce certificate, transcript from uni, IELTS (sent direct) NMC verification (sent direct), NMC registration letter and I think that was it. They will ask for more if they do not have enough evidence of experience etc. Nicky xx ​

Hi There, What is your profession, if it is on the SOL I would suggest trying for the 189 then you can always go for a 190 if no joy. My agent has said the opposite, to go for the 189 then 190 if all else fails. ​Nicky
