Hi All, hoping someone can assist - do you know the process required for the ENS Vetassess for a "sales and marketing manager"? Im looking to line my ducks up in advance of applying later in the year (in conjunction with my employer), what can I do in advance to have prepare material, documents etc so we have to hand to avoid any delays? This is a first for us both so anything i can do to smooth things will be better all round. What will they assess (I have a degree in Business Management) and what is the process? Im on a 457 currently if this matters? Any advice gratefully received. Thanks in advance

The rules changed effective 6th April and now you can (finally) transfer between CTF's and JISA's however it's not always beneficial so check the clauses with your CTF first....

we were given our numbers there and then - didn't have to wait a week...

we went to Parramatta office as you can walk in and get an appt (waited 2 hours) as we are a family of 4 - the Medicare office in Macquarie Park said they could give us an appointment at the end of April (I kid you not)... the left hand didn't appear to know what the right hand as doing in either office....

Flights booked to Sydney for 14th feb, myself, the good lady and our two boys (5 and 3)...yiippeee!

Lodged 8th December, they asked for more documents last week and granted today, not sure how many working days that means but hope it helps @mungbean

No, my MA asked me to email them the docs (proof of private medical BUPA docs) and then emailed me again today!

setting up NAB was fast and easy from the UK - cards waiting when I got to Sydney on the recce, good banking app, didn't struggle to find ATM's in Sydney either so all good in that respect - happy thus far and hoping when I get ovr there will be equally as easy. regarding transfers, I've transferred money across as and when I can and its been fast and simple, NAB provided the necessary details and it all turned up ok thus far!!!,

I've been told by my agent that a medical is not required for our 457 application, I'm hoping for a green light this week also, lodged early Dec and this week was asked for another copy of one bit of info so fingers crossed this is the week.....!!!!

Hi, so we are are scheduled to move early 2015 to Sydney and looking at the upper North shore, we have a football mad 5 and A half year old who seemingly is pretty talented - currently he attends training once a week and has been selected as one of the top 7 from 180 in his age for talent by the staff - some of whom are currently employed by premier league teams, they have a record of unearthing talent which is to be respected and have suggested with the right coaching ie themselves!!,) he could get into the system for junior talent. He has been playing just about a year and has been on a Chelsea (boo hiss) talent spotting course and just loves football, he eats, drinks, dreams, plays, talks it....we want him to adapt to Australia and integrate fully but feel that football will be one of the ways he does - is there any football training camps / sessions that are skills and technique based rather than gameplay based that we can take his to upon arrival.....? I have no idea if he is 'that good' but his love for the game we hope will hope him transition fully upon arrival.... all help is greatly appreciated thanks

congratulations dsd - now the real fun and games begin!! Good luck with flight hunting - I noticed they Fall substantially 15th onwards to Sydney....safe trip and have a great adventure!!

How much is ambulance cover in NSW?

we (Me, wife and 5 and 3 year old boys) are hoping to arrive Sydney Jan 2015 and will be aiming for the upper North Shore area around Pymble / Turramura / Wahroonga.... "all" we are waiting for is the 457 approval....:biglaugh::eek::cool:

Hello all, I was just wondering if anyone can provide a timeline on 457 approvals currently - mine finally got lodged today and I was wondering how long the purgatory will last so we can confirm shippers and flights etc.... many thanks in advance!

can you advise - I will be on a 457 visa and we are looking at a catholic primary school (fees confirmed at $3600k p.a.) in NSW - would we need to pay NSW fees in addition or not? Thanks!:notworthy:

GKP. If / once the oil law gets past in the region then it'll fly....went up to 450p on rumours and ebbed away to 150 again....if its bought out "they" say might be worth £10 plus but DYOR (do your own research)
