FWIW I think she'll be fine provided she is only transiting through airports etc. For peace of mind why not ring the British Embassy in Canberra on Monday for advice? They will likely be best pl;aced to provide the correct information.

Will the transit hotels allow 2 adults, a 2yr old and a 4yr old in the same room or not? Will we have to book two rooms?! Planning on an 8-10hour stopover in Dec and making plans now... thanks in advance

Hi, Is she stopping over en route? some countries wont allow people to enter with less than 6 months validity remaining (I talk from experience!!), the airline would get fined unless she is transiting through...I drove to Canberra once and got a new [british] passport overnight(!) as the airline said they would / could not allow me to fly to Singapore, HK yes, UK yes but not Singapore. Although a few years ago I presume still the same. Good Luck

Driven by a need to be profitable, squeezed by the multiples who are driven by consumers to deliver cheap....is it really any surprise that corners are cut and the ingredients are questionable....still why not eat horse? Or camel? Or donkey? Why do we eat pig? Cow? Etc.... The surprise is that anyone is surprised....

Hello all, aiming to fly to Sydney from London for a reccie and holiday this December with what will be a 4 and a half and a 2 year old - any recommendations / advice?! Thinking of a stopover to break it up to avoid a divorce and child meltdown....initial thoughts are Singapore or Emirates....which is better? the plan is to show the OH that Sydney is the right choice for relocation next year.... many thanks in advance!
