    PR Visa

They have just started on September applications expect to be waiting at minimum another month.
  2. I think if you're prepared to try and enter on a dodgy sponsorship you should expect to lose every penny regardless, it should be common sense to know that your supposed employer should not be taking a penny from you in return for your sponsorship. You took that risk knowing the implications it could have. I think you should just bite your tongue and look into re-entering Australia legitimately like everyone else.
  3. Did you also allow for the fact you can only work a maximum of 20 hours per week (to my knowledge) whilst on a student visa?
  4. Bare in mind there are a lot of fees for student and partner visa. Plus additional costs for medicals and police checks. Partner visa is also a lot of money and it's non refundable if you get rejected. Use your years wisely for gathering evidence.
  5. You would need to prove your relationship is everything but married if you do not live together. E.g joint assets. Its unlikely you will be classed as defacto if you only see each other every summer. I'd recommend either continuing with you student visa or getting a working holiday visa. This will allow you time to grow your relationship and collect evidence such as joint bank accounts, utility bills and leases. You can then progress onto a partner visa.
  6. Training for a skill won't work unless you have years of post qualification experience. It would seem that you don't have many options other than to wait for another recruitment drive.
  7. This is something you should not attempt on your own without the guidance of an expert in the field, get a migration agent and ensure they are a good one.
  8. Online bank statements should be fine (i used my online statements), worst case scenario go into the bank and request them. I don't think the police check is as strict as immigration they just need this information to prove you are who you say you are. Have you a drivers license with your address? Lease? Letters from the bank? Receipts for big purchases such as holidays? It may be worth contacting them and asking these questions.
  9. It would be foolish not to include her in the application as once she hits 19 she will struggle to gain entry regardless of family living there.
  10. A return flight tickets is not really necessary, you just need to have to proof to show you can pay for a return flight. I traveled to Australia a good 10 times over the years before i decided to reside here, not once did I have return tickets as I had staff travel and could get standby within 24 hours notice and not once did i get questioned and that was on tourist visa's. That being i completely agree with the CV's and Qualifications. If they find you with them, you'll be sent on the next flight back. Bags are searched more thoroughly and randomly than in the UK on arrival. At the end of the day. This stinks of a bad idea regardless. I don't think an ETA business visa is eligible to your circumstances, you should really do your research before applying. You'll be entering Australia as a family on this visa which in itself is peculiar. So lets just say your husband gets a job interview. How will he prove his qualifications? His track record? His references? You realize if you get found out you'll be banned from Australia? This would have an everlasting effect on ever getting into Australia. There is nothing stopping your husband from going online and trying to sell himself to companies. You walk through customs with overly excessive baggage you'll be searched and questioned. Before you leave the flight you'll be given a form to fill out asking if you intend to leave and what date. This is a legal document, if you lie you could get into a lot of trouble. Listen to the people on this forum, they know what they are talking about.
  11. You need to compile the files to group categories in PDF files. We added all of our relevant information such as travel tickets, pictures, statements bills, reciepts all into their own category file. So for instance all of our travel documents are on 1 pdf file. For form 80 you should be filling it out and scanning it into 1 pdf file, not individual files per page. Unfortunately the way you are doing it sounds like it could be a lengthy way for the CO to download and compile all your documents. Update: After a quick google search So you will have to wait until you've been allocated to a CO if you have hit your limit.
  12. That was not a good idea, you have literally confirmed to them that their suspicions are correct. Hopefully this does not affect your current visa grant. Tourist visa is what is says on the tin. If the state your boyfriend lives in allows it register your relationship this will help waiver the 12 month period.
  13. I had to return to the UK 8 years back whilst on a working holiday because my grandmother was diagnosed with lung cancer. I am now back over here. The way i look at it, i'm only 1 day away. Worst case scenario i can be there in a day. Before you leave ensure you teach them how to skype.
  14. I presume you are in Australia? We literally have just been through this and awaiting a CO On the 186 Temp to Permanent Resident Transition Stream. After the nomination is lodged you have 6 months to submit the application. If you are in a defacto relationship you will also need to provide evidence of the relationship. If you are from the UK you will probably need to get a UK police certificate. If you are planning to do the medicals before the case officer requests it you will need to do my health declarations on your immi account to get a HAP ID after receiving the HAP ID you can book a family appointment with BUPA (this is assuming you are in Australia) You can then put the HAP ID in your visa application. Once you have filled out your application on the last page you'll be asked to pay the balance after which you can begin uploading documents. It will likely take a few months before you get a case officer. Here is a list of the documents we uploaded some of which we had signed by JP including colour copies of our identity. (Some of these documents may not be relevant to your situation) Defacto Evidence: Travel Tickets All Travel Reciepts Car Insurance Valentines Cards Family Wedding Invite 2013 Xmas Cards 2014 Xmas Cards 2015 Photographs Undated Photographs Dated Electricity Bills.pdf Form 888 x 2 ISP Bills Financial Statements - Joint Joint Relationship Statement Telephone Bills Lease Other Documents: Birth Certificates Full Employment Contract Drivers Licences Occupational Licence/Registration, Evidence of Language Ability - English, Evidence of (UK Passport) Travel Document (Passports) Address - Residential, Evidence of Bank Statements - Personal Australian Federal Police Clearances UK Police Certificates Academic Transcripts All Educational Certificates Declaration Form Paying for visa We decided to leave out the hellish form 80 to see if they requested it. Hope this helps.
  15. Correct the fee is requested at the end of the application.
  16. I've done a defacto visa on 457 dependant and 186 defacto, we have done them ourselves. A migration agent isn't really necessary if you have some savvy, just read up about the visa and what documents are required. It's pretty straight forward but you will need to run round collecting evidence.
  17. We haven't bothered with form 80 on the 186, we are waiting for them to request it. Supposedly it's used mostly for high risk applications.
  18. Where are you intending to stay? Australia is expensive, more so than the UK in certain areas like Sydney, for starters you will need to find work yourself and supporting a family on temporary bar work income could be very hard unless you have savings to fall back on. As far as i'm aware bar work or bar supervisors are not on the Skilled migration list your work will not be able to offer a sponsorship or a permanent position, but yes if one of you were to get a sponsorship on 457 you would be able to add your family as dependents. You will also need a qualification to serve alcohol behind a bar in NSW Australia, these are fairly straightforward and can usually be completed on a day course. Skilled occupation list It may be worth your consulting a migration agent as to what your options are.
  19. I think that would probably cover the grounds of travel. Perhaps you should send them a copy of the birth cert and a letter as to why you wish to travel you will need to leave and be back within a certain time frame from what i recall. I don't think you'll have any problems.
  20. Can you make your mind up.. You give me a baseless URL to demonstrate your point whilst asking me to question my own defacto relationship on the basis we are not 'ready' to get married. Let's put a close on this shall we and stop clogging up this thread with useless and unsupported content. Because they don't need to be, it is that simple. It has nothing to do with marriage or wanting to be married. We are not ready for marriage, weddings cost money, especially if your family is 10k miles away. Respectfully, I know for a fact we meet Immi's criteria for a defacto relationship, we lodged both dependant and 186 visa's on defacto basic independently, perhaps you should read into it some time. No, but it is very apparent you are also not a Lawyer. Yes i know, thank you, i have been most of this thread. Well now, that's your opinion buddy, same as it's my opinion that rushing into marriage after being together for 3 months is also immature and possibly problematic, but hey that's just my opinion and the same as it's anyone else's opinion on what op should do with his current situation based on the information that he's posted and it's also of his own accord and opinion of what he should do with this information. Maybe next time you can avoid de-railing with 5 posts on a personal definition of what a defacto relationship is or needs to consist off with absolutely no factual evidence to support. Enjoy your evening. :-)
  21. I fail to see your point? Can you point out the part which says a defacto should want to get married? From what i'm reading i could even be married to another person and still be classed as defacto or even be in multiple defacto relationships.
  22. Chillers

    Deflation?

Thank you strange internet thread stalker person...
  23. That's the point of my answer, time will tell, but there is no harm in collecting the evidence for the likeliness of going defacto. We are not ready for marriage and we are in a defacto relationship. Defacto Relationship
  24. Chillers

    Deflation?

I think relieved is the correct term.
  25. Whilst marriage is a binding document and may prove the relationship to be a strong one, it's apparent that the couple would be marrying for the visa and are clearly not ready for marriage if they have not had to deal with the stresses of life and general circumstances when living together. Of course this is my own opinion i don't know the ins and outs of the relationship but i'm only going off what I've been reading, it could cause tensions in the family or even between one another. Why rush a marriage when they have the time to decide if that is what they truly want?
