(I never been in AU) I don't need licencing in my country for work (It's HR). This is only way to get the answers besause bouth TRA and DIAC can't provide. tnanks again
  2. HI AGAIN Is there anyone who had expirience with 457 skill assesment by TRA for nominated trade ocupation and NON nominated country? How can I apply for 457 visa (my trade ocupation is nomineted but country is not) Does this mean I can't apply for 457 visa? Thanks for any kind of answer
  3. Does DIAC accept Skill Assessment for Electrician (General) made under skilled worker program for 457 visa? In their guidelines for this type of visa we have to obtain 457 Skill Assessment for this trade occupation. TRA informed us that we are not eligible for this type of skill assessment (not from nominated country).
  4. Hi, I have a few questions about the 187 visa (direct entry). I have skill assessment but doubt about work expirience. Does DIAC require the work experience (electrician) assessed by assessing Authority? If not, what is needed for DIAC to prove the work experience? How they are strict about this? I'm from HR country. Thanks for help
  5. Thanks for reply I have skill assessment, and I go with direct entry. But my concern is with proving, for DIAC, the work experience. What paper they asking for?
  6. Hi, I have a few questions about the 186 visa. Does DIAC require the work experience (electrician) assessed by assessing Authority? If not, what is needed for DIAC to prove the work experience? How they are strict about this? I'm from HR country. Thanks for help.
  7. I am from HR country. No i didnt apllied yet! Can anyone, from HR country, confirm that DIAC reqires that the work experience (electrician) is assessed by assesing Autority?
  8. Thanks to all for replies and advices, but seems that my case is sealed. In beginning it looked straigh OK and was inch close in getting the 489 visa, but in the end all turned oposite way and lead to crash. After applying for 489 visa, DIAC accepted following evidences/scores: Skill Assesment: Electrician (general) dated 2011 Age: 37 (25 points) IELTS: (0 points) Relative as sponsor: (10 points) Qualification: Secondary School Certificates (0 points)??? as evidence was provided Transcripts and Certificates Employment: 17 years (15 points) DIAC couldnt determinate does my Certificates match the Australian AQF III Certificate to be awarded needed points and I had to do the MPA. The MPA outcome resulted that the qualification is comparable at said level, but they couldnt recongnize that the employment was comparable at required skill level for an electrician. DIAC, based on this outcome, toke my (already awarded) 15 points for employment and confirmed 10 points for qualification. Sad but true, "... migration points advice, which is often useless" is responsible for visa refusal!
  9. Hi, I have a few questions about the 457 visa. Does DIAC reqire the work experience (electrician) assessed by assesing Autority? If not, what is needed for DIAC to prove the work experience? How they are strict about this? Thans for help.
  10. I have IELTS (6 6 6 6) which is my max and skill assessment (electrician) from 2011. In addition I had to do Migration Point Advice, which outcome showed that qualification is comparable with AQF III level but employment prior and post qualification (17 years in total) isn't comparable at required skill level. Therefore, I don't have 60 points. My question is: can I apply for 457/187/186 visa if I find sponsor with skill ass. under the Skilled Worker Program from 2011? Will it be valid? What visa can I choose with my IELTS (6 6 6 6) and positive skill assessment that doesn't require employment verification? Thanks for any advice.
  11. Summer 2011 On portal is, next to outcome result, a link for opening the letter (nowdays, its not working). + Max 2 weeks for outcome letter to be received! Seems today policy is to not provide this service anymore if its not offered, already.
  12. Do you have an option to get this letter online trough their portal? As you see, Jupiter also had to wait 4 weeks prior assessment for this kind of letter to be obtained!

    TRA payment

Hello Jamie and thanks to all that help with suggestions through this forum. I realize now that this isn't easy like it was two years ago (paid skill assessment application trough credit card). I'm now preparing to submit the Migration Points Advise from TRA if CO says so. To pay this from my country, the BANKs need a TRA's Bank account number, SWIFT and IBAN (which, as I recall, they had in the past). Before asking them do they still have/provide this information?, I ask you. I afraid they don't have and that's why they need Bankers Draft to simply Draw the cash. Please don't laugh - I'm not familiar with money business. Maybe less painful option would be that my sponsor takes this cheque (pay for it or whatever) and send it to me so I can attach it with application and send back to AU for TRA to make an assessment? Again, thanks for any kind of info or advise!
  14. Thanks 4 welcome and interest! Off course I did. Here are evidences they considered. As I see, Vetassess provides Successful Outcome, Australian Qualification and an Offshore Technical Record. TRA also has been contacted with same query, but so far, without answer. After countless hours of net surfing, I'm still unable to determine how this can be obtained.
  15. Hello m8s! After applying for Skilled Regional Sponsored (Provisional) Visa, I'm informed by DIAC that I have to provide evidence of qualification or award that has been recognized by the relevant assessing authority for my skilled nominated occupation. The Skill Assessment under the Skilled Worker Program was successfully processed by TRA in the occupation of Electrician (General) 341111 on 2011. I've finished: - Secondary school, 3 year course: Electrical mechanic for machines and equipment - Certificate - Secondary school, 4 year course: Electrical technician for power engineering - Certificate If anyone could be so kind to help with further information who is a relevant assessing authority for my qualification? TRA should be that authorised body too, which DIAC clearly states TRA further redirects me to DIISRTE website DISRTE on Qualification Recognition and Assessment page redirects me to AEI-NOOSR website where on Who can assess my overseas qualification page at bottom they state: AEI-NOOSR does not assess overseas qualifications for migration purposes. ; and that in this case I should contact DIAC. Thanks for any kind of response.
