  1. Hi LeslieF, I had read in their latest News Section :http://www.migration.wa.gov.au/skilledmigration/Pages/LatestNews.aspx Like I said , I hope I am wrong with this. Hope limit is not reached and we can hear sth this Month itself. And yes, looks like they are looking at 489 first and hopefully 190 will come. Wait continues!!!
  2. I am Electronics Engineer
  3. I think they will only start processing when august begins because for July, their limit has been reached....i hope I am wrong but still.....
  4. Hi, You are right. Wait is all that we can do. Yours should arrive first as you have applied on 2nd. Eagerly waiting to hear some good news for you ppl who applied earlier. Only then I can be a bit optimistic about myself. Fingers and toes Crossed!!!!
  5. Hi, Looks like it will take some time for processing of WA SS applications...you applied on 2nd as I see and still u have not heard anything from them right? I so wish the processing time of WA SS is like before.......hope!!!
  6. Hi friends, Nice to see this thread about WA SS post July. Looks like a long wait for me as I applied on the 13th of July....Best of luck to all!!!
  7. "I got the link..." thanks for the info
  8. Hi friends, Anyone who have applied for WA SS under the new rules. Can you please share us your experience ?
  9. I am a single applicant. So how much $$ should i show to WA ?
  10. Can anyone please tell me how to show evidence of funds for 3 months living expenses? what is required? please help me out....thanks
  11. Hi, you applied for WA SS right? I just wanna know. Is it not that WA SS is closed until new criteria for SS will be published by them ? Correct me if I am wrong. I too am on 55 points and with 5 points from SS, i manage 60 points for 190. WA has my occupation on its list. I am just waiting for new criteria set out by WA in future. Btw, when did u send the SS application ? Thanks
  12. Nope. Please visit the WA migration website. It clearly states that for State Sponsored 489 visa, you have to live and work only in regional areas of WA except Perth. For family sponsored 489 visa, you can work in Perth too.
  13. No. 190 is not ranked. It all depends on if you are able to get state sponsorship or not. If you get SS, you will definitely get the invite even if you have just the pass mark i.e 60. The criteria which the states now will choose will be crucial for 190 visa. For example, now the state can put in new criteria of their own like better IELTS mark, better experience, etc. If you can get SS, DIAC will definitely invite you.
  14. HI..I wanted to understand....I have total 55 points now wid the new system...and I can lodge for 190 visa so that my point reaches the '60' figure....my occupation is in SOL and only in WA's SMP list....not in others. So I chose WA state only while filling in.....I wanted to know, should I now apply WA SS like we used to do previously for 176/475 so that I can get invitation from them even if I have 60 points only...How does it work ? Can anyone tell me , please! I am aware that 60 points will not be enough to get invitation. i just want to know if I can get SS from WA itself, will I have high chance of getting invite with my points? Thanks....
  15. Hi, Let me put you straight in. State Sponsorship for 475 is definately open by WA and they are currently processing it in 5 days. So you better apply for it and lodge 475 after u get the SS from WA. Chemist is in their list. Go for it!!!
  16. Hi dalawton, It would be better for you if you can join in this thread specifically for people who have lodged their 176 in June. http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/migration-issues/151471-176-lodged-june-2012-a.html Btw, congrats for applying before July deadline....
  17. Hi kamrulbuet, Sorry to know about that. Generally I have seen EA giving positive outcome of CDR in 2 months though it is case by case. Anyway, did you get CID number of your application from EA ? you can email EA's Migration Skills Assessment <msa@engineersaustralia.org.au> and ask them about your application ? Good luck!
  18. Yes that is the case! You will soon receive email from your CO......Fantastic to see the progress...DIAC are moving real fast....I guess its not only us who are trying to beat July 1 but them too for their own very reasons...
  19. Fantastic...I too was assigned Team 7 (How can i ever forget this?) ....good luck...ur moving towards the finishing line.....
  20. All the best to June Gang!! Hope you all get in :smile:before July1....
  21. Just wanted to add further: What is the difference in cost between Mandurah and Bunbury ?
  22. If you wish to move to another regional area to live and work, you must notify both your current and new state or territory government of this change. http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/specified-regional.htm Hi, Thanks for this share. I have one query, please. If suppose we are sponsored by one state but we choose to go to another state straight away when we move in Oz ( though it is unethical I know but just wanted to know), do we need to give the actual sponsoring state reasons of moving in another one such as lack of jobs or sth like that ? Just wanted to know how it works......
  23. Your right Candygirl! Its good time to apply for WA SS. But I still dont know why mine was so late....:grumpy1...Good luck to those who have applied!!
