    457 Visa - Self Application

If the employer lodges an application and for whatever reason it gets turned down, can they resubmit or is there only 1 shot at this? If there is would you recommend using an immigration agent?
  2. The Winston is a great pub and the Bull and Bush is the only Bottlo open late-ish on a Sunday. Why can't I buy last minute alcohol at 9pm ?? Haha

    anything wrong with Kellyville?

We have lived in Kellyville and now Kellyville Ridge. It's perfectly fine here we have 2 kids 6 and 9, and they love it here. There's everything you need around you, schools, shops, pubs, restaurants, parks etc. Excellently situated for bus routes. Not so good for trains though. 40 mins drive to the city and 45 mins to beaches (out of rush hour). We couldn't be happier.

    Bikers in Sydney?

Don't now how I missed this one. I'm in the Northwest and ride most weekends with a few different groups or on my own. I'm always up for a ride out (well almost always it's bloody freezing at the moment)

New to the Baulkham Hills area!!

Hi Gavin, All of the above are ok and safe with some pretty good schools. We live in Kellyville Ridge and love it here. You can get to beaches in about 45 mins on a good day and there's plenty to do around here. If you need any advice just let me know. Warren

    Motorcycle and Cycle Helmet Standards

It would cost more to have it tested and you'd need 2 because 1 would need to be destroyed. I too have just had to bite the bullet and buy a new Arai. Better to shell out $700 than to shell out $300 fine and $700 for a new lid

    Buying a motorbike

Got this a couple of months ago and I'm loving the roads and fantastic scenery out here. Yamaha MT-09 brand new in their range, it's an 850 triple. They hadn't made a triple since the late 70's early 80's. I've had all sorts back in the uk, Harley's, Italian super bikes, supermoto's MX etc but sold my last bike 18 months ago when I moved to Aus. I picked up a dirt bike when I got here and it's been sooooo much fun. It's the perfect country for it with all the bush land, there are some great mx tracks and loads of enduro. But.....I missed the road. Saw this new Yam at Philip Island last year while at the GP and had to have one so ordered it from the bike show in Sydney. It's good to be back on the roads :-)

    Australia's Spiders

I hate spiders. Not too scared of the smaller dangerous ones like the red backs. I can deal with them. It's the less harmful huge horrible huntsmen that I'm terrified of. Rats, mice, lizards, snakes don't bother me, but spiders..... :-(

Unblockus I've been using it for 12 months with no problems
  12. Is everyone still meeting on Saturday? Do we all need to wear pink carnations and have a copy of the telegraph under our arms, or do us pommies just stand out? I noticed there's a Bon Jovi tribute on that night and then St Patricks day celebrations at the Fiddler the next day. It's a party weekend ;-)
  13. Hi Liz, there's a few of us meeting up at the Ettamogah on 15th March if you fancy coming along? There is another thread on here somewhere
