Thanks so much for your replies. I'm just so used to working and being busy that I'm finding all of this change and quiet time really overwhelming. Hopefully once the family has settled and I'm back at work it will make things easier! Happy new year to you all

Hi My names Cat and I am 30 years old. We have just recently moved to Australia 3 months ago as a family from the UK with our two children, my daughter aged 13 and son 5. We have been living in the Hills District for 2 months and like the area very much. I am feeling very lonely at the moment and missing my friends and family back home as my husband works long hours and I do not know anyone here at all. Would love to meet up or get to know people who are or have been in a similar situation. Thanks so much Cat x

Hi we have recently moved as a family to Sydney from the UK and have been based in the Hills District for 2 months now. I am 30 and my husband is 31 and we have a daughter 13 and a son who is 5.
