  1. Ok, but what do you mean "evidence of employment claims"? :wideeyed: Did you submit your references initially? Gosh, I am really hoping I submitted everything!
  2. ... not me. I guess I'll be one of the last ones.... That's ok, I can wait.
  3. ooo, lemme check mine!!
  4. Your problem is easy to solve: Take a picture of it with your digital camera and upload the jpeg. I'm sure you won't get the "unauthorized copy" on it. But what do you mean there is no signature? That may or may not be a problem...
  5. My FBI clearance came on letterhead. I think the letterhead with the signature is sufficient. When I scanned my copy, I didn't notice anything about unauthorized. But, one thing I did ask the FBI to do was to "authenticate" the document as it is for Australian's DIAC department.
  6. I know that I'm being silly, but I hope the (positive) email comes at 1:11am! That would be such a sign for me. I applied on 11/11/2011 and the time was exactly 1:11am, so want to get the momentum going lolol :cute:
  7. hahaha, she is so cute!!
  8. Sorry, everyone, was away taking my finals. Camilla - that is awesome news, mate!! Do all of your documents show as "met"? Unfortunately....... I just checked my status and didn't get the ABPF. That's ok, I'll be patient and wait. It's only a matter of time.... sigh... By the way, Congrats to all here who received their visa's - especially you SHandGH!!! :ssign19: Oh and Jambos, you know you aint' getting no rejection, spesh after they called your job, so just hang in there!!
  9. Congrats, PSmith!! This seems to be the week of the grants
  10. Wow, and you've been waiting forever for that email! I would have grown restless  Makes me wonder if the quota is being reached and now CO's are just waiting on cases that have been allocated to see if they meet the points system before they take in new cases. But I could be wrong...
  11. Hey Oppyddrum - do you have a CO? I see on the spreadsheet that your meds were "requested" but it doesn't show you have been allocated...
  12. Hi Jambos - No, no link because it happened over time. Basically, it was just someone from another forum. Long story short, they were allocated a CO and as soon as that happened, all of their documents except for PCC's and Meds were changed to "met". (They posted about that specifically). But they were also asked for form 80 and that's when the background check began. About 6 months down the line, the person posted again and said that the CO contacted them and said that they cannot claim certain points. The person didn't specify what the CO didn't agree with, but at one point all of their documents showed as "met". Moral of the story, one cannot possibly be sure of anything for that matter until they literally have the visa.
  13. No because their official day is sometime in September.
  14. Anywayyyyssss, if no one here gets a CO or grant t'night, then we're going to have to wait until Wednesday night, as tomorrow is ANZAC day, and a public holiday. :err:
  15. I think SHandGH was talking about document verification and the CO literally sitting down and examining to see if the documents can give you the points you claim. In any case, I kind of disagree with SHandGH because some people are asked for medicals and pcc's, which will then be marked as "required" while the other documents are seen as "met". But I think that each CO works differently, so who knows at this point.
  16. But do they check your points and documents before or after they ask for your meds and PCC's? I ask because I read about someone who had everything changed to "Met" after being asked for their meds and PCC's. But then, after they underwent further checks, they were told that they didn't have enough points. So even after the meds were uploaded, they were still denied the visa.
  17. The thing is that I've already uploaded my PCC's, so I'm already on the clock. But, I'm only concerned because what if the CO doesn't like my documents? Then I wasted the money getting the meds. That's the only thing that's holding me back, otherwise I would have gotten my meds by now.
  18. Hey Camilla - I feel like frontloading my meds. Have you noticed that all who have frontloaded their meds have gotten direct grants? What do you think?? :wideeyed:
  19. Me neither...
  20. whatever happens shall begin t'night  are ya'll reaaady??
  21. and.... there were also some Decembers that have gotten the ABPF, albeit not on this forum
  22. vickey1, I'm only curious, but why are you in the waiting room? I thought you had everything frontloaded
  23. That's awesome! Now Camilla and I are 11 Novembers and we've been bypassed - Grrrr!! Maybe next week? Or will we be like the poor bastids' who've had to raise a PLE cause they were somehow overlooked - gosh I really hope not!!
  24. lol that's why i mentioned "not that kind of update" - ROTF :biglaugh: sigh...... just when we thought our batch would get allocated, a whole week goes out the window. Maybe next week
  25. I have a small update (no guys, not that kind of update :nah:) - just a small update for the spreadsheet: I have uploaded my PCC's on 18 April.
