    Hi there.... I'm glad things are falling in to place for you and hope you are enjoying Brisbane. I just wondered how things are going financially given that you are not working and your partner the only income earner. My wife works and I look after our son, work is hard to get and childcare would be nearly impossible to afford (temp 457) so It's a bit tight for us.... are you comfortable?

    Hi We moved to Sydney just over a month ago, we have a 2 year old boy, so no school worries yet but looking for somewhere for him to go and mix with other kids, one place which is good is the 'water park' area at Darling Harbour but we are pretty much in the same boat as you, if you fancy a coffee let us know.... we live in the city centre at the moment.

    We might fall into the whatever category, little bit older with a 2 year old, we stay in Syd city centre been here for a few weeks, since the weather is not going to be great does anyone fancy a coffee this weekend for an hour or so?....

    Hi Darren, Just heresay I know but we had to call out an engineer to our place and i asked how the trade was - he has his own company and he said it was good esp in the city....

    Hi All....... We arrived in Sydney 3 weeks ago...me, my wife and 2 year old son, now were getting settled we would like to meet with others who have been here long enough to give us some pointers...buying a second hand car for example. My wife works and I look after our son at the moment, we are from Edinburgh/Glasgow and reside at present in the city centre. Hope to hear from you.....
