  1. I think I did, my husband's birth certificate which showed he was born in Scotland, it was the only thing requested.
  2. This thread is fantastic, likewise we arrive in a couple of weeks and this thread has been priceless!
  3. Don't worry BritChix, it took us FAR longer than we thought it would to save up and put the application together, but when it's in it's a huge relief! I haven't been in Aus for two years but go next month!
  4. I think it depends on each case. My medical was referred and my CO has said it could take four months to be cleared because of the huge load of work the DIAC have right now, so I could be in for the full nine months!
  5. A little update from me. I took my medical on the 13th of May and hadn't heard anything back about it, so emailed my case officer. In my medical exam she told me she had to note on my application that my BMI was over 30, and that I had some self-harm scars. My case officer emailed the medical people and they told her I'd been referred. Extremely upset about this because I thought it meant I wouldn't be able to go to Australia on July 1st...and I have paid for EVERYTHING! Flights booked, dog booked, everything!!! Anyway, thank goodness for VF, she was lovely and told me that it just means the medical officer looks at my case and decides if I'm all good or not (I presume I will be as I have zero health problems), and that if I do need to do any health testing, I can do that in Australia. I had to ask her one last time...can I still go? She said yes, she saw no reason why not, so I'm officially excited about leaving! We fly in 27 days, woo hoo. Got my visitor visa through today too so will be able to wait out there without worrying.
  6. I'm a bit stressed today. Had my meds on the 13th, they were sent off a week later. Just contacted my CO, she still hasn't recieved them. I'm petrified I've failed them!
  7. I was the same, I saw the 100 and thought 'YES!' but then it started to make sense, haha.
  8. LGannon, I got the same thing, thought I was getting the 100, but my CO told me I met the requirements for the 309 recently so I'm not in luck I think! I would just keep it in mind, I think it might be because you've paid for the 100 visa because you don't pay again, you pay for both temp and PR in one go.
  9. This is the address; Australia House Strand London WC2B 4LA United Kingdom Add on Migration Branch for couriers. From what I can see you wrote the address wrong. You wrote High Commission, not Australia House. That could be it?
  10. With mine it said 'Not before' such and such date. I booked mine about twow eeks after that date, and my police check was sent off on the same day. I actually asked my CO if she required anything else as we were planning on leaving the UK at the end of June, she said she had everything she needed to show that we meet the requirements for the 309 visa, and that she would only require my medical and police check.
  11. I got a general request letter when they assigned me my CO (a few days after application), which asked for what I'd left out (just my email address and hubby's birth certificate). I'd assume that's when they'd ask for what they'd need?
  12. I didn't submit one, didn't need to, and wasn't requested one either.
  13. Hospital rang back, they submitted them yesterday, over a week after I took them...
  14. Ah that is fantastic news! How lovely, just when you were thinking about how much you'd like it!
  15. Woo hoo congrats! Can I ask, how long has it taken for people's medicals to be uploaded? Just emailed my CO as I did mine on the 13th, she said my medical hadn't been uploaded. I've rung the hospital and they're calling me back but should I be concerned?
  16. Amazing to see visas being put through so early, god I hope mine follows suit in that time frame! Dog's quarantine fees paid for today, just waiting for that police check to come through and we're good to go on July 1st to wait onshore for our visa.
  17. Wow that has to be a record! 5 months, amazing. Well done and hope you're all organised and on the move soon.
  18. I do when I ask, I asked recently if I would need to submit anything furhter after my medical/police and she told me I didn't need to and that after those were submitted it was just a waiting game.
  19. We're looking at the 1st of July, perhaps earlier by a few days depending on flights.
  20. Police check posted off, now waiting for it to arrive before I can send it to my CO. Then we're all set. Booking the flights this week, my little dog's flights are booked too. It's all happening!
  21. My BMI was over thirty five so I'm more than a couple of pounds overweight, but she didn't say it was a problem, just that she had to note it. I'm very healthy in all other respects, and I asked her to also note that I've lost three stone in the last year, she also put that I was healthy and enjoyed an active lifestyle, which I do. I'm not letting it worry me as I had no other problems with my medical and I'm completely top to toe healthy apart from my weight. Blood pressure was fine, as was my eye sight, don't drink, don't smoke, no family history of illnesses, never been in hospital, never taken on-going medication, etc. etc.
  22. Medical done today for me too. All went well, but the panel doctor did tell me that she would have to note that I was overweight and that I had self-harm scars. Hoping that doesn't affect my application but I'm feeling hopeful so booking flights this week!
