  1. My agent advised the SS route, but I thought it was unnecessary... processing times then seemed to be 12-18 months for 176 and 12-24 months for 175, and we couldn't go to our first choice of state. Also it would cost more, because the agent costs extra for the SS application... I am very hard trying not to be impatient, or to feel envious of all those people who started this process later than we did and already have their visa. But I'm also feeling sorry for the cat5 people. If I get impatient after 6 months, how would they feel waiting for 3 years???
  2. YES I fully agree on that!
  3. Tania, thank you for your time and work!
  4. me too... I don't really mind that they stopped the e-mail, if they will keep the website up to date. It is a lot easier to access than an automated e-mail. What does make me sad is the fact that after a period of processing three months of applications in two weeks, they slowed down to processing 6 days worth of applications in 16 days. For me (applied in feb 2011) that means a difference between the hope of having a CO before July 1st to maybe somewhere in December 2012... I hope this is a temporary situation. Maybe holidays? Or a large number of applications that are 'promoted' from cat5 in the new SOL that are processed first?
  5. have you seen the updates on the allocation dates? Am I correct that they only did 6 days on the cat4 175 since July 18th? :frown:
