  1. What are they seeking to play in a league that they might actually compete in.... #liverpoolstilllivinginthepastandalwayswillbeoncetheirbelovedsteviegretires
  2. If you don't go, you will never know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. if you desire the house you will pay the asking price and more. all you have to do is say the purchase is subject to a 5,10,15 days due diligence, which means you can pull out at any time if you so desire. the agent will generally only present the two best offers, a deposit of 10% is taken within 5 days from the chosen bidder and held by the agent.
  4. Not quite 2 billion, more like 1.25 billion. 'I have nothing further to add your honour'
  5. I have heard the name 'Daily Mail' banded around this forum like it is some sort of quality newspaper, please tell me they are not still printing that drivel in the UK???? An old boss of mine (in every sense of the word) used to read that shite, and he called it the 'Holy Grail'..... his views were as outdated as that paper....
  6. Doth my eyes deceive me! excellent post Mr Homewardbound588!
  7. lol, check my other post! gotta have banter with people at work over SOR and NOR!!!! In London I was NOR, needed a vaccination to go SOR!!!
  8. England are 4/5..... well worth $100 if you ask me.....
  9. Hi mate, its going well, working hard and long hours, but that's the nature of the beast over here (for Main Contractors at least) hours from 0700 till at least 1700 if not 1800, with half an hour lunch, subbies will prob work a more rigid 8-4, but as with any job you generally work until the job is done. annual leave is less over here as well, 20 days as oppose to the standard 25 in the UK. But I am on a better wage, so musn't grumble!
  10. Fifi, I take it you are Melville way? that's a nice area, especially near the swan, I use leach Hwy every day, work right near the airport, live in 6163 (biggest post code in Perth???) along virtually the whole length of Leach Hwy, mission....and I'm out the door by 06:30 to the OP, really depends what your budget is, could always look further south or north, to max the hr commute, but be warned, that hour commute now could easily be an hour and a half soon, traffic is building up something chronic, people from my work travel up on the Kwinanna Freeway and everyday without fail there is either an accident or massive traffic jams. Today for example a guy at works 1 hr journey took 2... he was going ballistic. And just cos Google directions tells you it is an hour or so to your preferred location, probably in reality means 50 - 100% longer journey time in rush hour, just bear that in mind! :ssign15:
  11. Have you considered Coolbellup? Went to the CoobyFest last week, really nice area, lots of families, good parks as well.
  12. again I will second what BD said, I did start a thread for folk like us, (on this forum) but it must be a few pages back now, assume no one has been on it lately?
  13. I don't work Saturdays  However my working hours are 0700 till 1730/1800, and only half hour lunch break. in the UK it was 0830 to 1730 with an hour for lunch... for me, since moving I work longer hours, you work till the jobs done. In the UK it was different, however, everyone is different and some people might be working more or less since moving
  14. Because I may one day return there, and I don't throw disparaging remarks and comments around the place on a country I don't live in anymore, and it is highly unlikely you will ever live in Oz again.
  15. There is nothing wrong with refreshing your CV format from time to time, I found a few on line that I liked the layout of and copied the best bits of them, now I think I have a pretty well laid out, and clear CV. My old CV had an old font and outdated layout, it just needed a good make over, I now have a much better font, forget the actual name but it looks recent, crisp and apt for a CV, however.... the font colour is orange! out there I know but it seems to work, plus I now have a job and recruitment agents said that nothing had to be done to my CV.
  16. Not sure this will help too much, but if you visit http://www.paycalculator.com.au/ it might help you see whats what with earnings, and if you work out what you need, realistically! then you might be able to start the job hunt for a job with a little more money, or somehow wangle a pay rise. Good luck fella.
  17. Why do you care if you don't live here anymore?
  18. Posting positive threads on this 'UK news forum', but negative threads on the 'News Chat and Dilemmas' page...........
  19. http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/news-chat-dilemmas/179912-mining-slowdown.html Took me 23 seconds to find that. Does that answer your ??
  20. That's cos you post all the negative news...

The forum could be called ~NAN~ Negative Australian News Please, no positive stories. I thank you. :biglaugh:
