So apparently there's no one who actually had to get an INDIAN POLICE CLEARANCE? Im still hoping to get some guidance here please. Thanks friends.

I am concerned as to my Indian Police Clearance Certificate. I am currently under the process of getting all my documents readied for a smooth processing of my 189 visa application. I have been lucky and swift to have been able to upload all the required documents necessary up until now, except for my Indian Police Clearance Certificate. I have been living in two other countries , including Australia and I have managed to get PCC's for these two countries without much delays and hassles. For India, I just applied for a PCC 2 days ago. I have been reading forums and I understand that I could be in for a slow processing. There have been lots of improvements in the way our Government agencies work and I hope that it works in getting my PCC as early as possible. I'd like to know if anyone else on this forum had to get an Indian PCC and whether their experience was smooth or rough! Hoping for the best. Ranjith.:policeman:

I am sooo caught in a rut. Waiting for a Case Officer like theres no tomorrow. Shouldnt be doing this but then the anxiety kicks in. Only when i realize that getting a Visa to Australia is not the end of my work, i quit the browser and try to do somethin else.. like maybe watch TV for sometime ... Im a Goner!! :wacko:

Hi I have lodged an EOI on the same date as Hugh too. Have been stuck with this Visa anxiety and just doing nothing else at the moment other than checking details and doing my research into how likely I am to get the Invitation. From what I have seen , The competition is probably in its all time low compared to the other months and other rounds as there's probably not much people waiting and whoever has gained more than 60 points have probably been invited because the May20th Invitation round invited around a 100 less applicants than their targeted Invitation giveaway number. So that could mean that we would not face any problems with earlier EOI's . Moreover, since there has been a number of occupations which have reached their ceiling, the competition from those popular occupations will not be considered for the next two rounds, until July 2013. I am just speculating on this one here. I still have fingers crossed and we'll know our results soon. Care to check back whoever applied in may guys! All the best to everyone out here.!
