1.
Hello stranger, not seen you around for ages, just thought I'd say hi

 2. G'day Loop I'm an Aussie who has just returned home, I was only away 6 years and in all honesty not much has changed, they even have the same radio Dj's LOL. I understand you're a little different as you want to move to a new state and you've been away longer but in all honesty it should feel like a cumfy pair of slippers. PIO is a great place that is open to more than just POMs, so any questions or fears you have just fire away as someone somewhere will be feeling like you! All the best Geoffrey
 3. I keep telling Kev, don't let facts get in the way of one of chris's stories

 5. Cant find a mirror big enough :embarrassed:
 6. Poor bugger, hope your tastebuds come back, no wonder you cant taste anything
 7. Where was I wrong? Your quote here "thats something the Romans made up to justify invasion" see a part of history! seems I do know my stuff BTW it maybe st georges day in england but not in Australia
 8. Why because you say so? :notworthy: Richmonds are real sausages? :biglaugh: Lord give me strength
 9. Sorry where did I say that? So what you are saying is that only the British have influenced Australia just because they brought farm animals and beer.... That over 200 years we have not been intelligent enough to make things to OUR tastes and needs. That other nationalities have not brought their culture and food to Australia. That we only have thee British to thank LOL And you call me Naive  No, the Romans invaded England as Britain invaded Australia. The British took what they wanted from Rome and evolved as the Australians have evolved from English practises. Not half as silly as yourself
 10. :biglaugh: How Naive are you? Britain may have colonized Australia but thats where it ends, but then again you lot are Italian aren't you? It was the Romans that invaded and turned you lot from savages
 11. Yep like the mail and mailmen oops I mean mail people :policeman:
 12. That's not the point Kev. The English way is the correct way, the only way as a matter of fact! This process has been going on for 100's of years..... :policeman:
 13. It's a hard life for some! :swoon:

Hi mate

The factory is in Thomastown I bought a king size mattress and base for 680 AUD and single bed mattresses were 120. In the shops the king size sells for just over $2000 and the single bed for $260. They make the beds there and can make one to your needs, now you can buy cheaper or dearer it's up to you. The factory is hidden and only sells to family and friends so when your ready or if you want one let me know and I'll give you the address

 23.
Hi there, our situation is slightly different. We have been through the court process in order to emigrate - my eldest boy is from my previous marriage and although lives with us still has regular contact with his dad. i am not 100% sure of the circumstances around the contact arrangements etc with your daughter but my understanding is that once the child turns 16 yrs old that any residency/court orders become expired

 24.
, for want of a better word, and therefore she would likely be able to suit herself where she lived and would not need a court order to be able to move over with you. The court process is a lengthy and costly one and if my understanding is correct my advice would simply be to wait until she is 16 yrs old, and then she would be able to come over with you. I am no expert on visa's and i am sure you could get some further advice on the forum but I would assume that at 16 she would still be classed as your dependant and therefore be eligible to come over on your visa.

Not sure if this is the sort of info you were after but if you want to ask anything else just send me a message

Regards
