  1. would you believe there was a little flurry of sleet and snow this morning in moree at 7am today! i'm sooooooo not used to this cold weather!
  2. realestate.com.au is great for browsing apartments so have a nose there for prices on rent and bonds, personally i'd try to go for something will bill included in the rent as you'll be hammering the air con up there... power would be your biggest bill, can't help with cost of bills as i haven't paid a bill over here since 2008... i'm sneaky haha and get jobs that pay all that stuff.

  8. here's one camping spot from on the bight, is free and right near the sa/wa border, phone reception and a servo only 10ks away that has showers for like $5
  9. i've done the drive a few times and the flight, if you've never done the drive i'd say make a holiday of it! the some amazing spots to camp on the bight! you could do carnavon gorge and the flinders ranges on the way as well without to much of a detour.

  12. it's a funny old game for sure, how do you harvest your grapes? a year or so ago i applied for a job harvesting grapes and didn't even realise till then that they could be mechanically harvested
  13. the rains actually been pretty good out here, had a big rain a week or two ago then a few days of 1mm, 3mms plus some really heavy dews, great soil out here as well so boss is hoping for a good result this harvest.... it's almost been too wet haha as been struggling to get the spraying done.

  17. i'd highly recommend this place http://www.booking.com/hotel/au/cheltenham-apartments.html Stayed there for eight nights recently, you get your own lock up garage, very big well appointed apartment and the location is perfect, really nice helpful friendly owners as well.
  18. it's a hard one mate and i know how it feels changing yourself and what you want to keep someone else happy. maybe give it abit of time before you make the decision to make sure in your mind.

  21. You'll need a returning residents visa after the expiry date, have a nose on the immi website, as long as you've been in Australia for two years recently you can get a fresh 5 year visa for $345. Good luck

  23. I actually worked for a dairy in cobram for three months this time last year, two herds, four milkings a day. There's no poo like dairy poo lol
