09E79596-4AD7-42BC-9FF2-FA091797F54A.jpegTransport has been a major issue in Rye for many years, there are regular buses up and down Point Nepean Road but there are limited Taxi numbers allocated to this part of the Mornington Peninsula so you need to plan well ahead of time if you need transportation anywhere in Rye.  The Town main shopping stripe is able to do on foot and is a nice walk.  Uber is also an option that the locals are happy to have access to.  In summer, there are more options like the Bali tuktuk style bikes with 2 seater passenger cabins on the back.
