Knoxfield is a suburb of Melbourne and is located about 27 km east of Melbourne’s CBD. The City of Knox is Knoxfield’s local municipality. Post code is 3180. 

The name “Knoxfield” is named after a former state parliamentarian and local of this area, Sir George Hodges Knox.
