    Hawthorn is a suburb of Melbourne and is located about 6 km east of Melbourne’s CBD. The City of Boroondara is Hawthorn’s local municipality. Post code is 3122.

    Hawthorn is located very close to the CBD and has train stations that can get you the CBD easily. There are many nice schools, parks, medical centres, shopping options and restaurants around. According to residents, they are happy with the convenience of services Hawthorn has to offer. The real estate market is getting expensive as it is very close to the CBD, therefore you would expect to pay medium-high rent.
