Guest trishjohnson
Hi, Congratulations! That must be a wonderful feeling! How quick - is that for a permanent residency visa? We are just at the very beginning of the whole process & so everything seems very scary at the moment! It's good to see such a positive outcome for you. wendym
Congrats! May I ask what type of job that was for? Did you need to complete a skills assessment in advance of the application? Thanks!
Candygirl
Congratulations - it must be a fantastic feeling!!!!! That was very quick. I thought you still had to have a PCC and Medical for a 457 as well.

Kerry Pollard
It's a 457 visa which is for 4 yrs but we can apply for PR citizenship after 2 yrs I think. X we started doing a 176 visa with an agent but then my hubby got offered a job so doing the employer sponsored route was a lot quicker. Good luck with yours. Kerry Pollard
My hubby is a tool maker and no he didnt need a skills assessment, he just sent all his qualifications and certificates to the employer and he got offered a job. X his mate took his CV into work for him and they did a sort of interview over the phone.
