Wild camels near Uluru NT

 

Odd one...Lived in semi desert for over 3 years, travelled across this magic land squillions of times, seen farsands of camel tracks yet never seen a camel in the wild...:em4600:

 

Maybe next trip in Sept.icon14.png

This one reminds me of when we went to Philip Island circuit,and had a guided tour around the track etc. during our holiday in Dec09/Jan10. (I'm on the right)

I use to love sitting on Cottesloe beach watching the school children

with their swimming teacher, coaching them about under currents

and safety of swimming at the beach. Thought I hope to someday

bring my kids there when I have some!!!! 12 years on, in process of

emmigrating to Perth.

 

Hoping to realise this dream later this year!!!

Go for a drive along the Mereenie Loop (south west of Alice) there are hundreds of the damn things.

Wouldn't it rot ya sox?? I'm planning another trip to NE of The Alice...just for fossicking around the old mines.:laugh:
