We used an agent to start with but then did the rest of it ourselves as felt it would progress quicker - and it did!

We got our 190 Visa Grant on Monday 11th March! Only just had the time to remember to post our wonderful news on here as been so busy since we arrived here on 6th February.

Just 'checked in online' for our one way flight tomorrow at 10pm with emirates! Melbourne here we come!

We had to do the same for my wife's 190. We applied for it in November and just waiting for the outcome.

Know exactly how you feel! We fly on 4th February to start our new life in oz. Do much to do in such a short space of time. We've got lists of 'things to do' coming out of our ears!

Our 457 visa has been granted today!

We applied for the 190 as we ideally wanted a permanent visa, then my wife got offered this job just before Xmas. We decided to go down the 457route just incase anything went wrong with our190.

The title is fairly self explanatory I think! Our agent only lodged the application on Monday 7th January and it was granted in 2 days!! PANIC is now starting to set in thinking about all the things we've got to do next! Whilst we are still waiting for my our 190 visa to come through, I'm pleased to say that my wifes' 457 visa has just been granted!! Melbourne here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!

PANIC OVER!!!! Our agent had only sent us the page for my sons visa grant! Phew!
