Hi, I colour scanned our photos individually into .jpg format and then named the filename to match each family member. Agent seemed happy with that. All the best.

Hi, to be honest I wasn't too scientific about it. The photos were regular passport photos, and I scanned using a colour printer set to 300 dpi, so my scanned images are around 500 pixels wide by around 600 pixels high.

I couldn't find any better guidance on this on the DIAC website, but as I said above my agent was happy enough with the scans I sent to him. All the best.

We stood against a pale wall - took photos with our normal digital camera

Downloaded these onto our computer

Reshaped them to passport photo style (they were left at high quality and large size) and then each was attached them to the DIAC website.

just wondered how you all uploaded your passport photos?

do you just put it on a piece of paper with your name scan and upload?

if so theres 3 of us so can we put all 3 pics on the same bit of paper then upload?

thanks kelly

You have to attach the scanned PP photo, individually for each applicant.

What you have to do is:

  1. Scan the photo

  2. Enter your full name without any spaces in the file name, making sure that you've followed the size limitations and acceptable formats specified for attachments

  3. Go to the online file attachment uploading page

  4. In the description of the type of attachment select Passport Photograph

  5. Browse to the location of your file and upload(attach)!

Hope this helps.
