Spouse vusa: Evidence of relationship

Sorry I have started a few different threads recently along the same lines, had I thought it through I could have asked everything in one. Hopefully this will be my last.

I have found all the certification now, and will get certified copies done, I have filled forms and gathered evidence. I pasted a whole laod of photographs intoa document (I hope that will suffice, I don't want to waste gallons of ink printing up full copies. I have cut and pste all the emails sent back and forth to my husband when we first got together. I have written a 3 page statment about us. Gathered bills, bank statments , tenancy agreement, loan agreement, Housing Benefit, Council Tax bill. 3 friends are writing statments for us and ex signing stat dec form. Phew think thats all.

I know all the official documents have to be certified copies, and I know that our statement doens't. Does anyone know whether things like tenancy agreements/ bills etc should be the originals, copies or certified copies?

Have I missed anything (bar police check, medicals and photographs?

Also random change of subject here but I know that child car seats are different over there , or more accurately have different kite marks. But does the same go for boosters? I have a hall way full of carseats for various combinations but my oldest two are predominantly using booster cushions now. So was thinking I could get rid of everything ese as they will fit inside a suitcase? Just my youngest to sort on arival then. Would that work?

Thanks

We didn't certify our bills, or other photo copies of general evidence. We only certified our passports, birth certs and my P60's.

Sorry can help you on the kids seats but would say that I assume they would have to have the Australian standards sticker on them for them to comply

Oooh forgot p60s. Do I need to show my husbands wages etc? Will wage slips/ p60s suffice? Or do I need more?

I was chatting to someone who works in immigration the other day and they were joking about the pornographic videos that some people have sent to show their "intimacy" - I think you probably wont need to go that far!

yeh we sent in my P60's. I think it has something to do with showing you can support your other half, don't know why they want the P60s though cause you wont have that job in Aus. Suppose it shows that you are in employment here and not on the dole??????

P60s aren't mentioned anywhere in the Partner Migration booklet. That said, we sent my partner's (the Aussie in the relationship) in too.

(Picturing the CO scratching their heads about why they keep getting P60s sent to them!)
