StevieF8
There will be about 10-15 films to watch - depending on who you fly with as well as other TV shows and music channels Singapore have Nintendo games to play I usually take a Nintendo DS as well to play the games I want as well So really the only things you would need to take are a book/newspaper
Guest JK2510
We took nintendo ds's,magazines, puzzle books colouring books. Ipods. Electrical items do have a bettery life so be wary about overuse! There are plenty of movies on the plane and gaming on tv. Just prepare yourself that it will be a long journey and with the refuelling that will break it up abit. pablo
Flightsocks. Even if you take some games or are travelling with kids, there will be one point of the journey where the boredom becomes almost intolerable no matter what you take on board. But apart from that one time, the rest of the journey will be a breeze. That "one time" lasts 13 hours and then another 8 to adelaide for me bo:arghh:,despise flying,i cant/never have been able to sleep on a plane,AND im a smoker!( moral of the story "dudes"DONT start smoking) nah,no fun! But to the OP i DO recommend flying in flip flops/thongs:yes: Ps didnt realise it was the young forum, have edited

bungeeman
We've just come back from our trip to WA and we flew with Cathay Pacific. I know they have UK power points in the seat backs so taking electrical items wouldn't be a problem here. I believe Emirates do a similar thing too
